Over at Samsung, the company has officially confirmed that they will release the WiFi-only version Samsung Galaxy Tab soon in US market to offer more choices for their fans. To be exact, Samsung will roll that WiFi-only model on June 8th, and it’s said to be retailing for $499 (16GB model) on the launch date.
Specification wise, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi-only version is similar with the premium 3G + WiFi model. It offers 10.1-inch 1280×800 TFT touchscreen display, powered by 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, has 16GB of internal storage, one 8.0-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, one 2.0-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat or calls, as well as other interesting features like gyroscope sensor, an accelerometer sensor, 1080p Full HD video recording capabilities, WiFi, Bluetooth, a USB 2.0 port, a 3.5mm headset jack are also available.
This WiFi-Only Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet is running Android 3.0 HoneyComb OS for the best compatibility.
