Found yourself constantly replacing bulbs around your house? Well, the old incandescent blub (if you still use any of them) is pretty short-life anyway. Also, it consume a lot more energy than the latest CCFL or even LED light bulbs. But worry no more as Philips has recently introduce a replacement for the 75W Incandescent LED Light bulb.
This replacement has no specific name yet, but what’s cool on this new version is that it will cost 17W only, compared to 75W on the traditional version. It’s about 75% saving per bulb, times it by the number of the bulb in your home and you shall see how much you can save in the next bill cycle.
Also, the life span of this replacement very long at about 25,000 hours. Imagine you are going to use it for 8 to 10 hours a day. That’s around 6 – 7 years of life span!
However, the only downside is that the LED light bulb will cost hefty on the first investment. Each one of them will cost $45 and you are going to need a hundred of bucks to replace the bulbs in your home.
Expect to see this replacement in the market around the Q4 of 2011.
