Last week I’ve seen the first WIFI mouse appeared in the market, followed up with the Portable WiFi hard drive yesterday and now T-Mobile is presenting a Free WiFi calling service for Android Phones. All Android phone users have to do is to subscribe to either the Even More or the Even More Plus postpaid plans, get themselves a WiFi capable Android phone, install the Smart WiFi app and they are good to go.
This information is unlikely a faulty news since guys from GigaOM has confirmed it with T-Mobile representatives. GigaOM also added that the service is only available for customers within the United States that have a handset with UMA support.
I should have mention it again that this service will be a part of T-Mobile ‘FREE’ service. If it turn out to be an ‘undercover’ paid service, it’s advisable to disable this service. There is no official confirmation over at T-Mobile’s end yet. But they should be publishing the press release soon.
