by in Laptop

It seems MSI is the first company to jumped on the GeForce GTX 560M GPU bandwagon, and they are earlier then their competitors like Alienware or ASUS. Introducing the GT683 Gaming laptop, the new kid in the block that has all the wonderful specs to support the new graphic card.

MSI GT6683 is still using the same design as their previous gaming laptops (with glowing LED light in the corners and sideways). But gaming laptop is really not about the design that matters. What’s important is the specs, where MSI has stuffed in a 2.0GHz Intel Core i7-2630QM processor, 8GB DDR3 RAM, GeForce GTX 560M with 1.5GB VRAM, dual 640GB HDDs in RAID 0 mode, and one DVD writer. I do hope they add a blu-ray writer by default, but it really doesn’t matter much as of yet.

Along with the core specs, MSI also has thrown in two Dynaudio speakers with subwoofer to increase the thrills when gaming, fast Gigabit Ethernet for uninterrupted gaming session, or Go wireless with WiFi b/g/n instead.
You can also find one 4-in-1 card reader, 2-megapixels webcam, two USB 3.0 ports and HDMI output where you can easily expand the screen size to your HDTV.

You can expect to have about 3 hours of gaming session if you are going to play your game outdoor with its 9-cell battery. No pricing and availability details yet.
