Acer, the company that meddles in computer hardware, especially in the laptop and tablet market has rolled out their new media center called Revo RL100 in the US. This media center was first spotted in the Asian market months ago as of of the new digital hub for home entertainment.
Specification wise, Acer Revo RL100 media center is powered with 1.3GHz AMD Athlon II K325 CPU, 4GB RAM, 720GB HDD, has three USB 2.0 ports, multi-memory card reader and running Windows 7 Home Premium.
WiFi and Ethernet connectivity are also available in case user want to hook up with their home network or Internet. What’s pretty surprising is that Acer Revo RL100 is nicely design and pretty small for any size of TV rack that you have on your entertainment zone.
You will be able to stack it together with other equipments and it’s looking like a slim disc player. Even better, Acer Revo RL100 has a model with blu-ray capability while the other without this function.
Price wise, Acer Revo RL100 has been priced for $499.99, and top up another $70 if you are looking for the blu-ray model.
