Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 Gets European Market Release Schedule

With the spotlights all focused on Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy Tab 8.9 that was announced together is kind of left of, shadowed by its big brother. However, today we have got some good news about this 8.9-inch tablet. According to the source, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 Android tablet has received a release schedule for 4 European countries including Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark on this September 2011. The brother take all the market in US, while its little brother got its share in the European market. Sounds like an imbalance portion given to the 8.9-inch, but it’s interesting to see which one is more successful.

To give you a summary, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is the model sandwiched by Galaxy Tab 7 and Galaxy Tab 10.1, which is the trio that once confused us with their weird “78910” number.

This tablet is powered by 1GHz Tegra 2 chipset, has 8.9-inch touchscreen display, has front-rear facing camera, support HSPA+ connectivity, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, and properly secure itself with the cutting edge technology like gyroscope, accelerometer, digital compass for mobile device.

This tablet is going to be available in three sizes, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB and they will run Google Android HoneyComb 3.1 OS.
Price wise, Finland customer can find it for €499, while the 3G models will start at €649 (estimation).
