New Art Lebedev Optimus Mini Six Keyboard

Art Lebedev has just announced a new keyboard is coming soon. Previously, Art Lebedev has produced quality keyboard (but expensive) that have individual LED display on each keys, including their next gen Popularis keyboard. This time, Art Lebedev introduced “Optimus Mini Six”, which is a six-key keyboard with tiny 64 x 64 LCD display built into each keys. In fact, the studio has introduced this Optimus Mini Six in the past without much details on the design yet. But today, they’ve revealed it like what you can see above (or below).

What this keyboard will do is to provide six shortcuts that could be customized like crazy. You can associate almost anything in there, like a skype button, shortcut to your favorite sites, showing digital clock, or even displaying your PC’s CPU usage.

No word on pricing yet. But you should expect it to cost more than just the common ordinary external numpad. Maybe hundreds of dollars, but I doubt it would cost thousands like their previous keyboards.
