Sony has released yet another set of compact cameras known as Cyber-Shot TX55 and Cyber-Shot WX30. These cameras has featured Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessa Lens, 16.2-megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor and both can record video in Full HD (1080p).
Sony CyberShot TX55 and CyberShot WX30 have BIONZ processor, up to ISO 3200 sensitivity, 3D still image capture, Optical SteadyShot installed, and internal memory of 19MB. The size of the memory is expandable to 32GB via M2 card or MicroSD/SDHC cards.
The difference between Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-TX55 and DSC-WX30 is on the lens and size of the LCD touchscreen. Sony DSC-TX55 is coming with 26mm wide angle lenses and 3.3-inch OLED touchscreen, while the Sony DSC-WX30 is coming with 25mm wide angle lens and 3-inch Xtra Fine LCD touchscreen.
Sony CyberShot TX55 and CyberShot WX30 is set to release in September for $350 a pop with various kind of color selections including pink, violet, silver, beige and black.
