Fusion Garage Grid 4 Smartphone and Tablet

Fusion Garage, the guys who work behind the JooJoo tablet has launched two fresh gadgets to the market and named them the Grid 4 Smartphone and Grid 10 Tablet.


Their tablet and smartphone system is kind of different even it’s running Android OS in the core. It’s been modified to a grid style interface, where you can tile up everything in a grid style like the picture above.

Specification wise, Fusion Garage Grid 10 tablet is featuring 10.1-inch display, supporting 1366 x 768p resolution, powered by 1.2GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core CPU, has 16GB storage space and HDMI output port.


On the other hand, the Fusion Garage Grid 4 Smartphone (which also known as the Tabco) is a not using Android OS. Instead, it’s using a brand new OS called Grid OS where everything could be align neatly in a grid style UI.

This Grid 4 is powered by 1GHz Qualcomm chipset Snapdragon MSM8255, 512MB RAM, 16GB built-in storage (expandable using microSD card), 5-megapixel rear-facing camera + LED flash, 0.3-megapixel front camera and the lens support 720p video recording.

Other features are also includes the accelerometer, 3 axis gyroscope, ambient light sensor, bluetooth, WiFi b/g/n and you can hook it up with your PC via micro USB connector.

Fusion Garage Grid 10 tablet is already available for pre-order at Amazon, with the WiFi only model set for $499, and the WiFi+3G model is only $599.

Meanwhile, the Grid 4 Tabco is going to be released in the Q4 of 2011 for $399 (unlocked).
