Amazon’s interest in buying elemental domain names turned out to be a good sign of their next gen of Kindle ebook reader. Today, Amazon has officially announcing their new Kindle Fire ebook reader that is actually a tablet system powered by Android OS with custom UI. The look and feel is similar with Blackberry Playbook, but it’s way lighter and cheaper although it has a great specification.
According to the source, Amazon Kindle Fire is a having a multi-touch 7-inch IPS panel display and some other killer specs that will look normal on expensive tablet, but extraordinary on a tablet that cost at merely $199.99.
Yes, Amazon Kindle Fire is only $199.99, it is pretty crazy for the market. Amazon has definitely stomped and cracked the competition with this release. No idea if Barnes & Noble Nook color could survive this attack but I would like to see how the market will react. It would be cruel to judge now, but I can clearly see the advantages of Kindle Fire tablet. It has gorilla glass, IPS panel display, dual core 1GHz processor, WiFi, 8GB onboard storage, Amazon silk browser, and many more features. You can find the details at Amazon, but the point is, Amazon is ‘crazy’ to set the price this low.
But above anything, the manufacturers’ price war is always going to benefit us the customer. Love to see a $99 later in the next few year. I’ll cheers for that future.
Anyway, if you are interested in this newborn baby, you can place your pre-order right now at Amazon.
