Verizon Announcing Samsung Galaxy Nexus For US Market

Last week we have heard that Samsung Galaxy Nexus is going to come to the US market with the latest OS installed (the Ice Cream Sandwich), and it’s going to be the exclusive item for Verizon. Today, Verizon has come up to the stage to confirm this rumor. Verizon is going to be the first to sell the Samsung Galaxy Nexus in the United States with contract deal like usual.

However, what’s strange is that Verizon haven’t announce the release date yet in detail. What they have said is that the handset is going to hit the market later in this year, so we are question whether it will be available in this Christmas Holidays season or sooner.

For the specification, Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the latest smartphone to run Google Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich. It has no physical button beneath the screen anymore. All have been replaced by a touch button which is a part of the user interface of Android 4.0.

This smartphone is coming with 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD display that support a large 1280 x 720p. It’s considered large because no smartphone in the market has support this size yet.

Also, it’s coming with a dual core 1.2GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera that could record full HD 1080p video with LED flash.

We are waiting for the actually release date. More update coming soon when we have sniffed something out.
