Together with eyeSight Mobile Technologies, Hisense has rolled out their first gesture-controlled Android-based smart TV that has come with 2D camera that will detect user’s movement.
The system will detect how the hand gesture is, and you can hand-controlled various functions like switching channels, tuning up/down volume, or even playing games that compatible with the hand gesture function.
The TV design itself is rather ordinary, has a rounded stand and slim design. The only different is the webcam hole in the top bezel. We are not sure how is the sensitivity of the sensor, but it should be able to detect your hand gesture while you are sitting comfortably on the coach.
HiSense will show off this gesture-controlled Android Smart TV in next year’s CES 2012 Exhibition.
