This is the first time I hear about a wireless mouse without the need of a battery to work. Genius recently introduced their Battery-Free eco-friendly wireless mouse called DX Eco. This DX Eco Battery-Free BlueEye mouse is using some kind of built-in gold capacitor to power up the entire mouse, and the beauty of this capacitor is that it can be quicky recharged in 3 minutes for about 100,000 times until it wear off.
DX Eco Eco-friendly battery-free blueEye mouse is featuring 1,600 DPI optical sensor, using 2.4GH wireless technology, with up to 15 meters of wireless range. It also has a special flying scroll wheel, hot keys and rubber insert. Sadly, we have no idea on how long that 3-minute recharge could last, it could be just a few hours or longest at a few days. But it’s a nice idea that we don’t have to wait to long for recharging, and no need to buy battery for it.
The Genius DX Eco wireless battery-free mouse is priced at 45 Euro ($61.77), but we have no idea when it will hit the US shores.
