This is definitely interesting. Instead of playing games with your iPad touchscreen, you can now use a dedicated wired Gamepad that is compatible for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
60Beat is introducing such kind of GamePad for iOS device, and it’s one of the most unique gamepad ever created. The reason is because this gamepad is not wireless that you can hook it up via WiFi or Bluetooth connection, and it’s wired but the interface is not USB/Apple 30-pin connector either.
60Beat Gamepad is using a 3.5mm audio connectivity that supposed to be used for headphone as the only connection to make the controller work!
This controller is unique and it will offer much better comfortability for gaming on your iOS device. It has come with numerous of buttons, with the overall design is closed to a PS3 controller, such as the dual analog joysticks, D-pad and 10 action buttons.
Sadly, since it’s a new accessory, not all iOS games supported by this controller yet. But I believe more will come with the default support of this controller.
If you ask for the price, 60Beat GamePad is going to cost you $49.99 USD. Head on over to 60Beat official site for more information.
