Sony is coming with the answer for Photographers who’ve been asking for a fast memory card that could record at a high speed level. XQD memory card by Sony is one of the speediest memory card for high end digital camera, with the speed could read 125MB/s or approximately up to 100 frames in RAW format in continuous shooting mode.
This card is set to be available in next month February 2012. They will be available in two main size: 16GB and 32GB that will cost $130 and $230, respectively.
Sony also offering a USB 2.0/3.0 compatible XQD card reader that you can purchase at $45 if you haven’t got a high end camera but you want to test the speed.
