Over at Taipei International Book Fair, Qualcomm has rolled out a new ebook reader called Kobee Jin Yong that has a 5.7-inch Mirasol display. You know, Mirasol is the next gen of e-ink display that is capable of showing up color in the usual black ‘n white display, without sucking up extra battery life.
Kobee Jin Yong ebook reader is an Android ebook reader as it comes with G’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with custom interface. Qualcomm has stuck a 1GHz SnapDragon S2 processor into this ebook reader for the best power run most ereading apps and the mirasol display. No idea on the pricing at the moment, let’s hope is something as cheap as Kindle Fire.
