ICS Update For ASUS Transformer TF101 Delayed Again

ASUS keeps breaking their own promises and they have driven their fans mad. Over their Singapore Facebook page, they’ve announced that the Android Ice Cream Sandwich update for ASUS Transformer TF101 is going to be delay until “within the Feb / March 2012 period”, which sounds like there is no certainly on when the company will roll out the update OTA for their customer.

This is the third times if I’m not mistaken. The first announcement that I heard is about couple of months ago stating that the ICS update will be available in early February. However, it’s been slipping through a couple of weeks, and another update coming up about the waiting for approval by Google. Now, they’ve done it again in their facebook page with another delay announcement.

Obviously, fans who’ve been eagerly waiting for this OS refresh is really disappointed. But some do vote neutral voices said that ICS is not really important as the existing OS has got their tasks and jobs done. But if you are happened to be one of the guy who want to channel your disappointment, you can throw ’em to ASUS Singapore facebook page.
