There is a schedule in this April 2012 that Intel will be releasing their new SSD called “SSD 313″. This new SSD is built with 25nm Single Level Cell (SLC) NAND and it’s coming with 2.5-inch and mSATA form factor. This SSD is also coming with the support of Intel Smart Response Technology for SSD+HDD Setup. With only 7mm in thickness, this SSD can be fitted to almost all laptop and netbook. According to VR-Zone, Intel SSD313 will be released on a 20GB mdeol and 24GB model for $99 and $119, respectively. It’s pretty limited and expensive, but it could be a reliable OS-only drive that could boost the overall performance.
This Intel SSD 313 will be available alongside the latest Ivy Bridge and 7-series chipset for motherboard.
