Samsung is rolling out the next gen of Galaxy Tab 10.1 – the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Instead of a huge jump on the specification, Samsung is just doing a small hardware update on this series (when comparing with the old model).
The design is obviously sleeker, has a better display panel by using WXGA PLS TFT display, and it comes with the default Android ICS 4.0 OS. Other than that, the rest of the specs is similar. 1280 x 800p resolution, 1GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB RAM, 3MP rear-facing digital camera, 720p HD video recording and full HD video playback.
Other specification that will come along is the A-GPS, 7000mAh rechargeable battery, WiFi, Bluetooth and HSPA+ network connectivity.
Two models will be made available later in this year: the 16GB WiFi-only model and WiFi+3G model. They will be priced at 399 Euros or US$536 and 499 Euros or US6$70, respectively.
