Kuroutoshikōu (Read: Expert-Oriented) from Japan is announcing availability of a new USB 3.0 HDD enclosure. This enclosure is codenamed as GW2.5CL-SUP3, featuring USB 3.0 standard, has four LED lights on the rear side of the enclosure, and you could install a 2.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD.
The maximum transfer rate when connected to a USB 3.0 connection is about 5Gbps, and it’s compatible with Windows XP, Vista (32bit/64bit) and 7 (32bit/64bit). There most interesting feature on this external USB 3.0 HDD enclosure is the four LED light system. It’s not a common lighting that serves no other purpose than giving a good looking. It’s actually an indicator for you to figure out how many percentage of free space available in your storage.
Each LED light indicating 25% of the capacity, which mean if it’s only one light lit up, you still have 75% left, four LED light up means that you are running out of space pretty soon.
