Epson Moverio BT-100: Awesome 2D and 3D Android-Powered Video Goggle

Coming soon to Amazon store, Epson is going to roll out their new powerful video goggle that could show both 2D and 3D contents on its 80-inch screen. Known as Epson Moverio BT-100, this video goggle is claimed to be the world’s first transparent glass (see-through) panel, powered by Android OS (Android Froyo 2.2) and it has built-in display (960×540 pixel qHD resolution) that could provide an 80-inch of display sitting in front of your eye.

With Epson Moverio BT-100 video goggle, you can virtually watch your movies anywhere you like because the display is not going to move elsewhere beside staying firmly in front of your eyes. But don’t worry about getting your eyes strained. the display is actually pretty clever in the distance, so you’ll be fooled to think that you are watching an 80-inch HDTV several meters away from your eyes, instead of stick it closely to your eyes.

This video goggle is featuring built-in rechargeable battery as well. You can move anywhere you like within 6-hours, and you’ll have to recharge it back before you can watch your film/movies. If you don’t have a movie library with you, you can also hook this Epson Moverio BT-100 with your local wireless network and watch Youtube channel instead (or any other video streaming websites).

For offline support, Epson Moverio BT-100 video goggle can playback bunch of file formats. It’s all thanks to the mighty Android OS as the controller of this goggle. Which means playing back MP3, MPEG-4 or AAC is not a problem at all.

Here is the key features of Epson Moverio BT-100 video goggle:
