More speed demon is joining the party. This time, we would like to raise the name of Kingston as they’ve unveiled their latest SSD called HyperX 3K. This SSD is definitely designed for the enthusiasts who loves speed and cutting edge technology. According to the specs list, Kingston HyperX 3K SSD is capable of providing sequential read throughput of 555MB/s, write throughput of 510MB/s via SATA 6Gb/s interface and it’s also equipped with SandForce SF-2281 processor.
Kingston HyperX 3K SSD is set to be available in four sizes of 90GB, 120GB, 240GB and 480GB. They are going to be priced for $140, $170, $340, and $700, respectively.
Kingston also going to pair it up with an upgrade kit that consist of 2.5-inch enclosure, screwdriver and closing software. This upgrade kit is going to cost you about $10 to $15 over the price mentioned above.
