NAB 2012 expo on April 14th to 19th will make Eizo to unveil their luxurious stuff called 4K LCD Monitor as the world’s most expensive 36.4-inch LCD monitor with 4,096 x 2160 pixels resolution.
This monitor is codenamed as Eizo FDH3601, which in the future will be known as the monitor with perfect (100 percent sRGB coverage in color gamut and “perfect smooth tone reproduction across the screen“.
Eizo is pretty bold with the quoted statement, but looking at the pricing for this monitor (which is a whopping $35,000), I guess it would be inhuman for Eizo to present an half-ass product for the market.
Specification-wise, Eizo FDH3601 is coming with 16-bit lookup table with up to 278 trillion colors, 700 cd/m2 brightness level, 1,000:1 contrast ratio and kind of slow 8ms response time. It thought it should have a better response time for that price mark, perhaps designer require no fast response time for their project? Well, can’t comment on that since I’m not that kind of enterprise-level of expert designer.[via TomsHardware]
