Samsung is not the only branded tablet maker to announce their new toy for the market. Asus has also made an announcement that they are going to ship their latest Transformer Pad TF300TL, which is the LTE version of their existing budget-friendly high-performance Android tablet with Tegra 3 SoC.
This new LTE version will be shipped in this August as well, carrying the price tag of EUR529 or about $651. This time, this budget friendly tablet is not so ‘friendly anymore thanks to the LTE feature. It’s definitely good to browse the web with the fastest possible 4G connection, but you’ll have to spend $250+ more than the usual price. Amazon even listed this tablet for $374 instead of $399.
This ASUS Transformer Pad TF300TL will be released only in Germany and Austria. No idea if this model will hit the US shore and what kind of price it will carry. People might just want to buy the Infinity model instead if it’s costing more than $774 together with the keyboard dock. Why on earth would anyone want to purchase something expensive when they can get other similar model for a better performance and less price?
