In this year’s IFA 2012, Sony unveiled an unique device called VAIO Tap 20. This device is kind of the hybrid of All-in-one PC and tablet PC because it has touchscreen display and it’s so thin that you can lay it down and use it like a tablet PC. It’s a transformation and might be the beginning of the large screen tablet PC with size above 20-inch, so Sony might be trying to sail their ship into that direction.
Sony VAIO Tap 20 is coming with a built-in kickstand, has 20-inch large touch screen display (1600×900), coming either with Intel Core i3 or Core i7 CPU, 4GB – 8GB RAM, 750GB or 1TB HDD, WIFI, Bluetooth, USB 3.0 and webcam also included.
VAIO Tap 20 Touch PC tablet hybrid will be pre-installed with Microsoft’s latest OS – the Windows 8, which has fully taking the advantages of touchscreen display and tablet interface.
Sony will release this product at the end of October 2012 in selected countries, but no words if US is one of them.
