Palit MicroSystems has just unveiled two new USB flash drives – namely the M-Series and D-Series. Palit M-Series is a flash drive with metal outlook design, using the latest USB 3.0 superspeed interface and it has an interesting 360 degrees rotation with the cap built-in to prevent lost. It’s compatible with both Max OSX 10.72 or newer and Windows 2000/XP/Vista and 7 or newer. This M-Series guarantees to give users the best transfer rate as it’s been an USB 3.0 flash drive.
On the other side, the Palit D-Series is not a USB 3.0 yet. It’s still standing on the USB 2.0 standard, which could reach 480Mbps only. However, it also support both Mac and Windows without requiring driver installation. For the design factor, Palit D-series flash drive is using a slide out connection, which means it’s a capless design to free users from worrying about losing the cap on the way.
For the capacity of the flash drives, Palit M-Series is coming with a larger capacity choices starting from 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, while Palit D-series is smaller with 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB.
