HP has updated their Wireless TV connect device to allow PC/computer without WHDI technology to be able to stream their content wirelessly to their big screen. This updated HP Wireless TV connect is also capable of streaming 3D content from any PC source to a 3D-capable television.

What’s more on this updated version is the smaller form factor, and a cheaper price at launch time. It’s said that this HP Wireless TV connect device is only $179.99, in oppose to the older version that cost $199.99 when first released.

As long as your device has HDMI port, you can virtually streams any of them to your HDTV with the help of this small device. The promising feature is that the streaming will have no lag time at all, to guarantee your entertainment experience at the fullest.

Expect to see this WHDI streaming device in the store around December 2011.

Hisense is unveiling a new range of WHDI accessories, which has included a transmitter for laptop, case for iPhone and a mini receiver for TV. WHDI, which is stand for Wireless Home Digital Interface will let you stream your HD video from laptop or iPhone directly to your HDTV wirelessly, where commonly you have to use a quality HDMI cable in order to get the full best quality.

For a second, these WHDI device from Hisense is smaller than Chinavasion’s Wireless HDMI Extender, but it will still do the job excellently. Hisense new WHDI devices has fully supported HDMI 1.4a output, where you can actually stream your 3D movie from your laptop to your HDTV without problem.

Hisense haven’t announced the pricing for their device yet. However, we are sure that you won’t find these device selling in the States.

As what I’ve known so far, Linksys is the first company to rolled out their wireless router or wireless modem with amazing appearance and design. I know every company is trying to be unique to the market with their own product offering. But something like this LAN-WH450N/GR is certainly too weird. LAN-WH450N/GR is a new wireless router from Logitec. It has a slim router base with thin stand to save space, which is pretty normal. However, what’s make it unique and ‘weird’ is the flower-like triple antennas (or it’s also called as Tri-tenna) popping out from the top of the wireless router.

According to Logitec, LAN-WH450N/GR wireless router is supporting 5GHz bandwidth on IEEE 802.11a/n mode, where user can enjoy full 450Mpbs speed on compatible wireless devices like laptop, mobile phone or tablet. Though we are not sure how effective the triple antenna design is when compared to the ‘old fashioned’ dual antenna design However, we sure hope it has a good latency and no lags even for a millisecond.

Logitec will start shipping this LAN-WH450N/GR wireless router in this April in Japan for a hefty price around $230.
