Acer Intros S1 Series Ultra Thin LED Displays

Acer has just introduced their new S1 series ultra slim LED-backlit LCD displays. This series is expected to be the world’s slimmest LED backlit LCD that has an ultra slim profile at 13mm only for the 18.5-inch (S191HQL) and 21-inch (S221HQL) monitors, and about 15mm thick for their 23-inch (S231HL) model.

Acer S1 Series ultra slim LED-backlit LCD displays featuring impressive 12,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 5ms response time, EnergyStar 5.0 approved, has got DVI, D-Sub and HDMI input. All models has a nice black bezel finish, along with a glossy LCD stand.

Acer Revealed Two Green LCD Monitors

Acer has joined the environment friendly moves by launching their latest green laptops that consumes 36-percent less power than other previous LCD display by them. There are two of them, one is Acer V193WBbmd that size in 19-inch and V223Wbbmd with 22-inch screen size.

Looks pretty plain, with navigation buttons lining at the bottom right corner. No ‘Cool’ effect design similar to the touch of color series by Samsung or as wild as NEC 43-inch super wide LCD. These Acer Green LCDs only has a pretty good 10,000:1 contrast ratio, pretty common 5ms response time and 300cd/m2 brightness rating.

The only push over marketing for these ACER LCD monitors is the ability to save more power when in use. The 19-inch ($185) Acer Green LCD could display up to 1,440 x 900 while the 22-inch ($236) could boast to 1,680 x 1050 pixel resolution.
