Acer has finally dropped another Iconia tab tablet to make the over-crowded market even more crowded. Their new tablet is dubbed Aspire Iconia Tab A100, which is yet another 7-inch Android tablet that has 16:10 aspect ratio with multi-touch screen that support 1024 x 600 pixels resolution.

This Acer Iconia Tab A100 has already using Google Android 3.0 HoneyComb tablet despite of its non-HD resolution. However, over the processor side, Acer Iconia Tab A100 tablet has fully support HoneyComb with the power of NVIDIA Tegra 250 Dual core Cortex A9 processor and 512MB DDR2 RAM.

For storage support, Acer Aspire Iconia Tab A100 Android tablet is coming with built-in eMMC 8GB hard drive. If you think it’s not enough, Acer has built-in a microSD card slot that allow you to fit in a 32GB microSD for more storage space. This is nice if you are a data junkie. You can buy as many as 32GB microSD or you can emptied the content to your external hard drive and reuse it.

Like many other quality Android tablets in the market, Acer Aspire Iconia Tab A100 has come with dual camera for video chatting and video recording. The rear facing camera has 5-megapixel sensor, while the front-facing camera has 2-megapixel sensor.

As for the connectivity, Iconia Tab A100 has come with WiFi IEEE 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and HDMI port. Sadly, there is no USB port found on this tablet that is quite a missing feature that most people want to have.

Other than the specification, Acer has also equipped their Iconia Tab A100 with their exclusive Clear.Fi feature for cross-platform multimedia sharing. A little bit explanation for Acer about their Clear.Fi feature:

Easy to set up, clear.fi takes the complication out of sharing. It will automatically detect new devices that have been connected, from PCs to smartphones, running Windows, Linux, or Android. From there it’s easy to search devices for music, photos and videos within the home network, easy to share between devices. Thanks to clear.fi and the HDMI port your can stream and appreciate the multimedia stored on Acer ICONIA TAB A100 on any of the devices connected to your home network and clear.fi enabled.

Acer Aspire Iconia Tab A100 is currently available for pre-order at Amazon UK for £299.99 GBP or equal to $479.5. Pretty sure it could be a good alternative if you dislike Motorola Xoom, PlayBook, iPad 2 or Samsung Galaxy Tab.

Acer Iconia, the dual touchscreen laptop tablet that virtually have no physical keyboard has been nominated as the winner of the Last Gadget Standing at CES 2011. That’s mean you can safely said that Acer Iconia is the best gadget in this year 2011, which may lead to a massive demands after the official release.

Acer Iconia, If you remember, is a new type of laptop that has both of the inner surface covered with sensitive touchscreen display. The top side is pretty common, but the lower screen is what make it cool. But the downside of Acer Iconia is that you won’t feel any tactile feedback when typing because it has no physical keyboard. Also you might have to adapt to the full screen layout of virtual keyboard before you can fluently bashing on those tricky virtual keys (without pressing on the faulty one).

But above of anything, Congratulations to Acer who’ve been win the award and dare enough to pioneer a great new technology with the public’s acknowledgment. It’s just too bad Toshiba Libretto was not the one to win the award!

Do you remember the Iconia dual screen laptop from Acer that we introduced last month? It seems this dual screen laptop is not going to make it this year. Instead, according to the latest news Acer Iconia will be hitting the European market next year on January.

Luckily, we have got the specification of Acer Iconia dual screen laptop. It seems Acer Iconia is going to come with dual large 14-inch touchscreen display that we can use at our convenient, and it will be powered by Intel Core i5 CPU, 4GB RAM, 750GB HDD, and 3G modem.

It sure looks like a great solution for fans of dual touchscreen laptop that could find their place in Toshiba Libretto‘s version. According to our source, this dual screen laptop tablet is going to hit Spain on January 28th for 1,499 Euros (about $1,987).

No idea when it will be available in US. Hopefully we can see the demo on CES 2011 and get more information about it.
