After the long wait, Dell has finally releasing their Adamo XPS super thin laptop along with the specification. Dell Adamo XPS is absolutely the thinnest PC laptop that could slash Macbook into two. Measuring in just 9.9 thickness, weigh in just about 1.4kg, it might looks impossible to have a good specification. But it’s not true. Dell Adamo XPS is lightweight and super thin, but the specification is still great for professional.

Inside Dell Adamo XPS, you can find 1.4Ghz Intel ULV processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 128GB SSD, 13.4 inch HD screen (1,366 x 728) with heat sensor, and you can also found two USB 2.0 ports, headphone jack and mini display port.

The only downside on this Dell Adamo XPS is the battery life on its standard battery that worth 2.5 hours only. However, Dell Adamo XPS laptop can offers up to 5 hours of continuous operation if you are willing to drop more coins in exchange for its extended battery pack.

As I’ve expected, Dell Adamo XPS will cost above $1,500+ which now standing straight at the price tag of $1,799. No release date revealed yet, but for you who have a strict budget, you have to think twice before placing your order on this super thin laptop.

Okay, finally I could see the face of the Dell Adamo thanks to PCMag. Well, at first I though Dell Adamo XPS is using some kind of Holographic display because of it’s impossible to stuffed in a display panel in its thickness at just about 0.99 inch only. But I was wrong. There is an actual screen embedded and it’s *really* a thin screen.

Anyway, there was a rumor that Dell Adamo will launch on the same date as Windows 7 that carrying in the price tag of $2000, but it seem it’s just a false rumor. Up to date, Dell haven’t talk much about its availability and price tag. They still keep trying to tease the geeky-minded bloggers and journalists by showing the actually notebook bit by bit, starting from revealing how thin the laptop was.

The most convenient feature that I’ve come to known was the solid aluminum chassis, with the lid getting a heat sensor treatment so you can open up the keyboard just by brushing your fingers across. Clever, I can’t wait to know what is the actual specs for this so called ‘World’s Thinnest Notebook that could Slice Macbook Air into Two‘!

We’ve found more Dell Adamo XPS pictures that was revealed on the latest Press Release. It was the second PR after 09/09/09 events but it seems this Press Release is just another Vague information. Dell is pretty cheapskate to reveal only the side view of the upcoming Dell Adamo XPS laptop, but now I can (somehow) see how the screen and keyboard collapse each other (which I don’t have a clue in their first PR).
