MIC gadget has come up with an interesting accessory for iPad 2 owner if they’ve ever regret buying iPad 2 instead of getting a MacBook Air. Their new accessory is called Aluminum Keyboard Buddy Case which will turn the iPad 2 instantly into a macbook air by adding a keyboard with sleek exterior.

There are a lot of accessory makers have done this marketing move, but none of them is as cool as this Aluminum Keyboard Buddy case for iPad 2. The keyboard is pretty thin, after installing the iPad 2 into the port, I can say it’s even thinner than Macbook Air. The good thing is, this ALuminium keyboard buddy case is costing just below $20, it’s even cheaper than Apple’s official wireless keyboard at $50.

Of course, I can’t state anything on the quality as I haven’t had the chance to test it out yet. However, at $20, it’s definite a steel and you’ll also add the Macbook Air feeling to your iPad as if you have the hybrid system of them both.

Check out the following video if you are seeking for more details:

UpStand is a new iPad stand created by JustMobile. This little Aluminum stand could hope iPad in both portrait and landscape position. Especially on a landscape mode, iPad looks like a mini size of iMac that looks quite cool and cute.

However, thanks to the improper center of gravity, this iPad which has been known as the touchscreen tablet become obsolete. Why? Because when you land your finger and touch the screen with some power, the round base stand will probably lifted and roll around.

This mean UpStand is really just a Stand, not for touchscreen interaction that require a bit of better center of gravity.

Just Mobile UpStand iPad Stand is available for $45 (pre-order).

Lian Li has a new Aluminum Case that targeting the home theater PC market – Lian Li PC-C36 Muse HTPC Case.

PC-36 Muse have a slim form factor, with a black brushed aluminum case and a brave straight white line across the front side for some neat styling. As you can see in the picture, the aluminum case is built in the ancient desktop style instead of the current popular tower style.

Several features included in this Lian Li PC-36 Muse HTPC case are as follow:

300W TFX Power Supply

one 7cm ball bearing fan with 1500rpm

Two slot of 3.5″ bays for Hard Drives

One slot of 5.25″ bay for Optical Drives

Supporting only Micro-ATX motherboard

6 expansion slots

The most eye-catching Lian Li Case that we have covered here is the blue beast or PC-888. I love the super large room with lots of expansion bay. But this PC-36 Mus HTPC case is pretty good also. Since the case is design for Home Entertainment PC, it won’t need a lot of expansion room similar to a gaming PC case and compact/slim design is everything!

You can check for the detail and features at Lian Li official site. The price of Lian Li PC-36 Muse HTPC case is around $200+. You can either buy it at Newegg($199, save $10), or check out for other Lian Li Aluminum PC Cases at our Shopping Channel.

This is one beautiful concept done by Djordje Cukanovic. It’s a jake-in-the-box 2.0 by him but it’s not a toy. The name of this cool concept is Don’t – a Lamp based on a light + water + some fake snowflakes.

It’s (NOT) a Jack-in-the-box that uses light and mesmerizing reflective properties of water along with fake snowflakes and aluminum pieces. Snow globe of the future perhaps?”

– by Radhika Seth @YankoDesign

According to Djordje Cukanovic, “Don’t” is inspired by children’s games the box of surprises and snow ball (or what we known as jack-in-the-box). The Lamp is a light bulb based, filled with water and aluminum pieces to pretend as snowflakes since it can reflect the light.

A gentle touch of the bulb, makes the spring bender and swing for a certain period of time. Inside the light bulb there are fine, very light peaces of aluminium and fake snow that, thanks to the movements of the spring, start floating in the water, reflecting the light in unpredictable ways.

Sensai features an animation mode so that once every minute for 12 minutes after the time is displayed, the LEDs rotate on and off in a circular formation – a subtle effect that brings the watch to life. This function can be turned off as required.

A single touch of the upper button initiates a rotating animation before the remaining LEDs show the time. Twelve red LEDs represent hours, eleven green LEDs represent groups of five minutes and four yellow LEDs represent single minutes. The time can be shown immediately with a second touch of the button. To find out more, take a look at the interactive manual below.
