Rumors are heating up that iPad 3 is going to come with a slimmer dimension while it has the retina display with higher resolution. According to the latest rumor, iPad 3 will come with a display that support up to 2048 x 1536 resolution, and it’s been rumored that the device is currently undergoing testing.

iPad 3 to be slimmer than iPad 2 is sound like a great news, however, I wonder it would break another record of the “thinnest” tablet in the world. Even it’s not a world record, I still think the current iPad thickness is enough for users. All that I want is the increasing in power and performance, especially great if Apple could squeeze more battery life into the iPad 3.

Thickness, by this mean is useless if it has no significant improvement in the overall performance.

Before Apple iPad 2 released, there are some sort of rumors indicating that the tablet will be coming with the lightweight but sturdy carbon fiber housing. However, there is no such thing when iPad 2 was officially announced. It turned out that the rumor just another groundless rumor made by the carbon fiber enthusiasts.

However, there is an indication of good news now where Apple will actually using carbon fiber casing on their future iPad 3 or any other future Apple devices. Why? Because recently Apple has just recruited Kevin Kenney, the Senior Composites Engineer whose has experience and expertise with carbon fiber.

Kevin Kenney’s previous job was the CEO of Kestrel Bikes, who make lots of carbon fiber bikes for the sporty market. Of course, since Apple has hired him, there is a positive indication that iPad 3 might coming with this sturdy protection case. However, we don’t want to start any groundless speculation either. It’s pretty cool to hear the fact that your iPad can move a big vehicle like a superyacht, no wonder there was a prediction that Apple could ship 65 million units of iPad in 2011. According to what I’ve heard, the iPad will get a custom app that would let you be the captain of the sail easily.

Apple iPad that has made a great impact in the Tablet world is rumored to be able to ship 65 Million units next year in 2011. It’s amazing if it’s real, since there are lots of iPad killers out there that strive to pull Apple iPad down from its crown.

However, there is no way people can predict the future ahead unless they’ve time machine. Who knows what Samsung will come up with their next gen of Galaxy Tab 2, and will that coolest Tablet Notion Ink Adam come up with is yet to known.

Amazing, in just 80 days, more than 3 millions of iPad has been shipped to customers. Well, it’s pretty obvious actually… Their first month record has made them over millions of dollar in profit by selling 1 millions iPad in 28 days. The record of selling is not slowing down month after month. In fact, going from the second millions to the third millions takes 18 days only, which is a crazy record of the history.

Congratulation Apple. You have made a great sales record of the history selling a tablet device. I guess you’ll have no competition for a while, but watch your back. I’m sure someone is eying on you and trying to pull you down from the crown!

Just one day after launching, Apple has sold 120,000 iPads and counting. Now, after 28 days from the first launching, Apple has made another impressive sales mark where they’ve sold over 1 Million units of iPad! Wow, Steve Jobs sure earn a lot this year.

Currently, up to 10,000 pre-ordered each day and I’m sure Apple’s warehouse is working like crazy to fulfill this monstrous amount of orders.

From the 1 Million orders record, the ratio of 3G iPad vs WiFi only is 3:7. Which means 300,000 for the 3G version while 700,000 units for the WiFi only model. It seems the WiFi only model is more popular (perhaps of the lower pricing). But not bad either for 3G version which was just launched some days ago.

“One million iPads in 28 days that’s less than half of the 74 days it took to achieve this milestone with iPhone,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “Demand continues to exceed supply and we’re working hard to get this magical product into the hands of even more customers.”

From the 1 million iPad, there is up to 12 millions application downloaded forom App Store and up to 1.5 millions of ebooks sold from iBookstore. This prove that iPad tablet is also a popular ebook reader where Kindle users can look up as an alternative.

It appears iPad will launch in all US Apple Stores at once (211 stores) at 9am in the bright new morning. To cover it up, Apple also ask the help of Best Buy stores to join the parade. So you will be able to see the iPad start selling at Best Buy too! Wonderful. This weekend will be another legendary day for Apple. This is a crazy mark for the first day, I believed Apple has properly done their marketing far before the launch date and the result is clear now – everyone want an iPad!

Well, it is not really ‘everyone’ yet, especially for those with tech savvy and hi-tech experiences. There are bunch of alternative made available as the iPad Killer (we will talk about this soon) and yes they really are the killer and some of them have a cheaper solution.

Up to 120,000 iPad has been pre-ordered on the first day (Friday) and that is truly an amazing number despite of the better alternative offered by other companies. 120,000 iPad is equal to $75million dollars, a revenue for Apple for the first day only!

That is a big chunk of money just by selling the ‘Pre-order’ iPad. Perhaps most of the buyers are Apple’s fans and enthusiasts, so they are willing to bet on their money even without the iPad hold on their hand (perhaps influenced by iPhone 3GS?). Well, The iPad will be launch on April 3rd, 2010. So the mark might will quadruple itself and probably there will be millions of pre-orders will be there waiting for Apple to roll out their new baby…
