When traveling, the thing I hate the most is staying on a hotel that lack of wall outlets. Why? Because I can’t charge all of my electronic gadgets at once so that I can use them again without waiting like a dummy beside the outlet. That’s why I’ve always brought a travel adapter to troubleshoot my problem. Sadly, my travel universal adapter is quite lame as it only allow me to charge one USB gadget through its built-in USB port, and another two gadgets via the AC adapter.

I have no idea of a better solution until I found this Energizer iSurge – a new portable all-in-one AC adapter. This travel adapter is a new charging station that is not only supporting simultaneous charging of 4 gadgets at a time, it also coming with a dedicated Apple’s 30-pin charging dock that would compatible with iPhone and iPod!

Not to mention it also has a nightlight that you can turn it on and off to illuminate the charging zone. You can conveniently charge your gadget even you are in the dark spot.

Sadly, if you are traveling across to the other side of the world where the socket type is different, you’ll still have to bring your own universal travel adapter along with this Energizer iSurge portable all-in-one AC Adapter.

This Energizer iSurge travel charging station is yours for $59.99. Jump to Amazon if you are interested to get one.

Energizer has just introduced a new charge station called iSurge Travel Charging Station, which have come with a couple of fast charging USB ports (2.1 Amp output), three surge-protected AC outlets, and topped with 30-pin dock for both iPod and iPhone.

The most useful port is obviously the USB ports. Most portable electronic gadgets are now USB charged, so if you have this Energizer iSurge Travel Charging Station with you, you can never have problem in finding place to recharge your gadgets.

If you really want a downside, I would say that it’s too bad the charging station didn’t come with an in-car charging solution. It would be great if you can also use it when traveling on your car.

Well, if you want one, you can get this Energizer iSurge Travel Charging Station in this October 2011 for $59.99.

It’s a casual charging station that has a fake grass growing above it. What’s the purpose of the fake grass, you ask? It’s to give you a greener feeling while you are working at your deadline, and you know, green stuff is good for you eyes for once in awhile.

This Grassy Lawn Charging Station has a spacious compartment beneath the grass where you can hide the adapter and cable, leaving only the gadgets above to grass that looks pretty awesome (but it’s also a great dust-keeper!).

Guys over Apartment Therapy show us a good picture of tutorial to make yourself a Wall Mounted charging station. This stuff looks cool as the creator of this tutorial (Twistedmosaic) using trash as the main material to produce this floating wall mounted charging station, complete with a Laptop desk!

DIY Wall Mounted Charging Station with Laptop Desk

The idea is pretty neat because you can virtually erase all vision hanging and swinging cable on the wall. As you can see there in the picture, there is charge station for PSP, several cell phone charger plug, and I assume there is a plug for iPod and iPhone.

I like the height of the laptop desk too. It’s pretty fit on common body height because it’s only 29″ in height. Unfortunately, That cable hanging down there seems to be pretty dangerous if you have baby or children at your home. They should cover it up to avoid unwanted accident.

Well, if you are interesting to turn your flat wall to something cool like this charging station, feel free to visit Apartment Therapy to browse some picture, or directly head to TFProject to read TwsitedMosaic’s step-by-step tutorial to craft your own charging station.
