Canon has rolled out an ultimate Laser mouse called X Mark I Mouse that has included two more functionality other than just a wireless laser mouse. You can find both calculator and wireless numeric keypad (numpad) built-in to the palm rest of the Canon X Mark I Mouse. It looks so cool, and the laser mouse is working on the Bluetooth 2.0 connection, plus a 1,200dpi sensor.

However, I wonder if we won’t accidentally pressed the button while using the mouse? it’s unlikely we can avoid pressing on the calculator buttons when clicking and dragging the mouse. Unless Canon has set up a special activation key for the two extra features, it will be the dumbest mouse I’ve ever seen.

Well, this canon mouse will work on both PC and Mac, costing you about £39.99 / €48.99 when launched.

Mio, a company who focus on creating GPS unit is introducing a new series of Mio Moov V780 GPS device in the CeBIT 2010. This Mio Moov V780 has the advantage of 7-inch display that could double as a media tablet and MID. The display can hold 800 x480 pixel resolution, and it has a built-in flash-enabled web browser allowing the possibility of viewing online videos via 802.11g, 3G or WiMax connectivity.

Mio Moov V780 is even more thoughtful on this section because they have also included a dedicated Youtube client in the device, together with some other application for email (Microsoft Exchange) and touch enabled music and picture browsers. As for the decoding capability, Mio Moov V780 can decode 720p video with native resolution through a HDMI connection. It also has a digital TV Tuner supporting 1Seg in Japan, T-DMB in Korea and DVB-T om the Europe.

Mio Moov V780 comes with 4GB of built-in memory, but it’s upgradable via microSDHC memory card. Up to date, the availability and price list remains undisclosed.

Buffalo, the popular HDD manufacturer has introduced one combo gadgets that mix both iPhone dock and Hard drive dock together. You will soon recognize it as “Buffalo HDD Dualie“, a device that will support 2.5-inch portable hard drive to fit the rear slot, while you can dock your iPhone 3G S at the front slot. The device would be powered by single USB 2.0 cable, compatible with both Mac and PC, and Buffalo HD Dualie even have equipped with 2 additional USB ports at the rear side.

One downside though, the rear slot for HDD docking is only compatible with Buffalo-branded portable hard drive with size up to 500GB. You can’t jack in a Seagate External Hard Drive, nor the Western Digital drive.

This combo gadget Buffalo HDD Dualie will be available in Apple store on January 12th for $249.99.

Guess what, this cool blue glowing speaker is another great creation from Brando. The shape of this USB speaker is pretty similar with the previous capsule speaker with added functions.

The size of this Cool illuminated speaker/USB Hub combo is pretty small and compact, so the speaker can be conveniently stuffed it into your laptop bag and carry it effortlessly. Of course, the sound quality will not as good as the dedicated speaker system, but at less it could be a beautiful speaker that you can use it to expand your USB port in case you are using a netbook with minimum USB port supplied.

Overall, the USB hub has 3 USB ports, all USB 2.0 but it’s not recommended if you want to plug in an external USB hard drive. Head to Brando to get it for $14 if you are interested.

But we have no deep impression on the quality or speed of the drive. Well, at least until today when we’ve found out that Kanguru has joined into the market of Dual interface flash drive by equipping eSATA port at the other end of the flash drive.

Last time we have seen Sanwa and Silicon Power going ahead of the game. So will Kanguru e-Flash be able to beat the competition? I guess it’s depend. All brand did comes with their own advantages and disadvantages.

The Kanguru’s version of USB-eSATA combo flash drive offer advantages of high-strength aluminum housing, 5x faster transfer rate and you can engrave the case with custom text or logo. Kanguru e-Flash also equipped with secure caps as the connector protection.

DUAL MODE HEADPHONES GO FROM PRIVATE TO PARTY AS iHOME LAUNCHES THE NEW iHMP5

Built-In Amplifier Turns Personal Headphones Into Portable Speakers

RAHWAY, N.J., August 18, 2009 – Up until now, personal headphones meant an isolated experience, and for subway rides, visiting in-laws and plane trips, that’s a welcomed relief. But what happens when you want to turn a personal reverie into a portable party? That solution is now here as iHome, a leading supplier of innovative iPod/iPhone speaker solutions, today introduced the iHMP5 2-in-1 Stereo Speaker / Headphone System. The first, over-the-ear headphone offering from iHome, the iHMP5 is unique among other headphones as it is fitted with an inline pre-amp that when activated can fill a room with stereo sound.

“At iHome, we continue to drive innovation throughout our product line by imagining new interpretations of product categories and applying creative design options to make them a reality,” said Evan Stein, vice president of Marketing, iHome. “Our iHMP5 is a perfect example of this as we completely change the way people view headphones by allowing them to turn it into a portable speaker system.”

The iHMP5 allows users to configure the unit in two ways: as a personal set of headphone to listen to music privately, or as a speaker system to share the fun with friends. Available in three fashionable colors, the iHMP5 is outfitted with a lightweight, adjustable headband and full 360-degree padding on the ear-cups for noise isolation, making the private listening experience both comfortable and clear. However, for those times when sharing is a must, consumers can simply activate the battery powered amplifier and the stereo sound is there for everyone.

The iHMP5 is currently available for purchase at The Apple Online Store and on ihomeaudio.com for a suggested retail price of $59.99.

Today, I’m going to introduce you to another cool Korean product. The Name is ‘U Board’, a type of mini desk extension which is coming with extra features such as Cup holder and USB Hub. The U Board will fit Apple’s Desktop and Macbook like twin because the matching color blend and the cool glass plate surface.

U Board will allow you to manage your desktop easily and it has the roam space below the U Board to hide your Mac keyboard while you will have more space at the top to place other stuffs. Especially good if you have got a set of wireless keyboard and mouse. I did mentioned about the USB hub, didn’t I? You will find the USB drive at your left side, at the leg that hold the laptop up. there are three of them and you probably can extend the number by adding another hub to the existing port.

U Board will be available in both Korea and Japan for $50 or 5,040 Yen. No words when it will hit the worldwide market.

(via Studio-N)

UPDATE: This Uboard is now available in Amazon.com for $49.95. All thanks to our reader for this information.

Hawking has another cool gadget for multi-purpose gadget lover. Hawking Easy link HU2P4 is the name of the gadget, which not only capable of connecting two computers together like LAN cross-over connection, it also has a built-in USB Hub so you can share your USB gadgets for two PC. One stone two birds!

This HU2P4 is preinstalled with file exchange software and connects to the USB ports of any two PC computers. When plugged in, the HU2P4 instantly reads files from the two computers and displays them side by side.

Simply drag and drop files from one computer to another to begin transferring. In addition, the built-in USB ports allow you to connect and access your camera, USB flash drive, and other USB devices. “This compactly designed Easy-Link Data Sharing Hub is a great accessory to have for a quick file transfer or to back up files from your laptop or netbook to your desktop or vice versa.

Leave it at home or pack it in your bag, sharing files with your friends, classmates and colleagues has never been easier. The Hawking USB Easy-Link Data Sharing hub makes transferring files as easy as plugging in a cable. Never has file transfer between two computers been so simple.

The HU2P4 makes it so that there are no software, drivers or networking issues to deal with,” says Amy Tang, Marketing Manager at Hawking.

The only downside for Hawking Easy-link data cable and USB Hub combo is the device will not work in Mac-OS environment. It’s only supporting Windows OS, preferably XP and Vista.
