For you who have pre-ordered Viliv S10 Blade convertible netbook, this is a bit of bad news for you. It seem you have to wait a little bit longer for your order to arrive because Viliv S10 Blade has some manufacturing delay. This has lead to the pushed back of their shipment date to next week and early May. The original shipment date is suppose to be on this week and late April (depend on which model you’ve pre-ordered), but sad you have to wait longer.

Viliv S10 Blade convertible netbook is certainly one of those netbook that has a great stylish design. It’s not only lightweight (at 1.21kg only), it also has features 10.1-inch (supporting 1366×768) 3-point resistive touchscreen and a long 10 hours battery per charge.

Viliv S10 Blade is a Atom based convertible notebook, mainly powered by 1.6GHz Atom Z530 or 2.0Ghz Z550 CPU. however, it has low RAM supplied at 1GB only, and low hard drive capacity at 60GB (or choose SSD for 32GB). Other features also includes built-in graphic card, built-in webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, HSPA modem (optional) and SDHC card reader.

Depend on your choice, Viliv S10 Blade is available with Windows XP or Windows 7 Home Premium OS for $699.

Acer Aspire 1825PTZ 11.6-inch convertible netbook has begun to ship on Europe market. This convertible tablet netbook was first announced in the last month, and now you can find it selling for 560 Euro.

Although it’s not the Timeline series, Acer Aspire 1825PTC convertible tablet is only 1.72kg. You can also get a pretty decent specification such as 320GB Hard drive, 4GB of RAM, Gigabit ethernet, Wi-Fi b/g/n, bluetooth 2.0, HDMI, card reader and 6-cell battery. However, this convertible netbook has a low speed but power saving Intel Pentium SU4100 CPU at 1.3GHz only. IT also has a standard graphic chipset (Intel GMA 4500MHD) which mean you won’t be able to play decent game with this tablet.

Here is an update news for ASUS Eee PC T101MT Multitouch convertible netbook. Last time there is no details yet on the specification, pricing and availability. Today, we have got it. ASUS Eee PC T101MT is going to launch next month with pricing at 499 Euro. Though there is no detail yet on when is the exact launching date.

ASUS Eee PC T101MT Multitouch Convertible Netbook is Pine trail-baded portable netbook, using Intel 1.66GHz Atom N450 CPU, has 2GB RAM, integrated graphic chipset GMA 3150 from Intel, multi-gesture touchpad and it has 10.1-inch touchscreen display. As for storage capacity, ASUS Eee PC T101MT Multitouch convertible netbook has 320GB + Free 500GB web storage.

ASUS Eee PC T101MT Netbook is 1.3Kg only, but it has almost all features you need for mobile computing. You can find WiFi-N, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, SDHC card reader, webcam, and a battery that will allow you to have 6.5 hours of operation while working under Windows 7 Home Premium OS. ASUS has uploaded a demonstration movie of their latest ‘coming soon’ Eee PC T101MT Multitouch Convertible 10.1-inch netbook to Youtube to demonstrate the netbook interface. There is an info about ASUS Eee PC T101MT netbook that refuse to show up, however, with this video being uploaded to the video sharing site, it is certainly the netbook is on its way to the market. From the video, it seems there was no demonstration on the multitouch capability although ASUS Eee PC T101MT has it. Perhaps ASUS is trying to tease us and probably they will upload another video demoing the multitouch gestures. Will update you when more info has become available.

Soon enough you will be able to enjoy a convertible touchscreen netbook from Gigabyte because they have announced and updated T1028X into their netbook range. Gigabyte happened to release the strongest netbook of its geration – the Gigabyte M912M and now they has rolled out this T1028X new convertible touchscreen netbook with higher specs and additional ExpressCard 34 slot.

This Gigabyte T1028X Netbook has a slightly better processor of Atom N280 1.66Ghz CPU (in comparison with M912M at 1.6Ghz), but share the same 1GB of RAM, 160GB HDD, bluetooth and WiFi. However, it seems gigabyte T1028X excel in the screen display which you can get a good 1,366 x 768 displayed on the convertible touchscreen.

Gigabyte T1028X touchscreen netbook will be available for $700, which I think is pretty expensive for a netbook. But it still in the fair line because we still have the Dell Adamo whose has the highest price above $1,000+ mark.

ASUS has put their Eee PC T91 onto their US website now. unfortunately, there is no certainty about when it will be ready for the public, and no detail US$ pricing until now.

ASUS Eee PC T91 is one of the coolest convertible netbook tablet so far. It has a 8.9-inch touchscreen, powered by Intel’s Z520 1.33GHz Atom Processor. Although it’s not as strong as Sony VAIO P series with Z550 Atom processor, ASUS has an excellent “Super Hybrid Engine” to boost battery life up to 5 hours (Sony can’t do this yet).

It has 1GB of RAM and 16GB SSD Storage. Pretty minimum, but enough to run XP and several applications installed. ASUS Eee PC T91 also has optional HSDPA cellular connectivity, WiFi, bluetooth, TV tuner and GPS receiver.

Although there is no pricing yet, Slipperybrick estimated it should be around $684 because on the UK site, the price for ASUS Eee PC t91 is £449.
