USB hub is not just a hub for your own PC anymore. There are a lot of company who’ve produced a USB hub that could be connected directly to your home LAN network to share USB devices to the entire network easily. We have seen some of them (Belkin, Logitec, GreenHouse), and the latest one has been introduced by Eminent, the EM4080 Network USB Hub.

Eminent EM4080 is manufactured by Netherlands company, and they’ve just made their announcement of this EM4080 USB network hub. The Ethernet USB Hub has 4 USB 2.0 ports, and one ethernet port with DC port and reset button.

All you have to do is to hook it up with your network LAN cable, and magically all of your PC in the network can access to the USB devices plugged onto the Network USB Hub. Practical and easy.

Sharing USB gadgets such as Printer in your home network has become so easy after the Network USB Hub released. The gadget has getting improvement each day and they’ve finally arrived at the point where you can get a Wireless Network Point with up to 4-port of USB hub so you can share your USB gadgets wirelessly.

Belkin introduced such a device, where they entitled it with just a simple ‘Home Base’ without any type of strange code name to call. The device will act as your home wireless point, can automatically back up files and share pictures on Flickr or Picassa accounts, and shares files between computers on an existing wireless network.

You can connect your PS3, Xbox 360, flash drive, external Hard drive and so on to the 4-port USB hub and share it with your network. Belkin Home Base also allow you to turn your External Hard drive into DNLA media server if you do need one.

Belkin Home Base is carrying the price tag of US$129.99 and it’s available now.

Hawking Easy link HU2P4 is the name of the gadget, which not only capable of connecting two computers together like LAN cross-over connection, it also has a built-in USB Hub so you can share your USB gadgets for two PC. One stone two birds!

This HU2P4 is preinstalled with file exchange software and connects to the USB ports of any two PC computers. When plugged in, the HU2P4 instantly reads files from the two computers and displays them side by side.

Simply drag and drop files from one computer to another to begin transferring. In addition, the built-in USB ports allow you to connect and access your camera, USB flash drive, and other USB devices. “This compactly designed Easy-Link Data Sharing Hub is a great accessory to have for a quick file transfer or to back up files from your laptop or netbook to your desktop or vice versa.

Leave it at home or pack it in your bag, sharing files with your friends, classmates and colleagues has never been easier. The Hawking USB Easy-Link Data Sharing hub makes transferring files as easy as plugging in a cable. Never has file transfer between two computers been so simple.

The HU2P4 makes it so that there are no software, drivers or networking issues to deal with,” says Amy Tang, Marketing Manager at Hawking.

The only downside for Hawking Easy-link data cable and USB Hub combo is the device will not work in Mac-OS environment. It’s only supporting Windows OS, preferably XP and Vista. Hawking Easy-Link Data Sharing Hub is available for $29.99.

USBFever introduced me to their latest USB Mini Netwok Server that allow us to share printers, USB gadgets, over LAN network or Wireless LAN. This is certainly amazing. Although we have seen some of the similar gadget in the past, such as the Greenhouse Ethernet hub and Logitec Universal LAN, non of them to support external USB expansion port via USB hub.

This Mini Network Server normally can share only 1 USB Device because you can only find only 1 port provided with the gadget. You can additionally jack in a 4-port USB hub in it to expand the port number. However, 4-port is at the max and you can’t fit in a 16-ports USB hub or it will be broken/unable to work properly.

With this Mini Network Server, you can virtually share any USB gadgets you have to your network. Support protocols LPR/LPD, DHCP, UPnP, support Vista Rally Technology, and MFP or Multi-Function Printer over the network.

You can obtain this mini Network server for $56.99 only at Gizfever.

Green House Ethernet USB hub has total of 4 USB ports and 1 Ethernet support at the right side. Which mean you can actually share up to 4 USB devices for all of your PC in the network easier. The only question remain unanswered is when this stuff is going to be available and how much this ethernet USB Hub will cost. The specification is also unavailable for now.
