Everyone that love challenges and adventures knows how important a flashlight is, especially when exploring the unknown cave or forest. Flashlight is critical because it can provide us with a great view of what’s up ahead, and some of them even can be used as a fighting tool.

However, that’s not what Junwon Yang has with his design of Emergency Flashlight. His design is actually for those who found themselves inside a troublesome situation where the group of people haven’t properly armed with adequate flashlight.

This Emergency flashlight design has double illumination, means not only the scout can see clearly upfront, the flashlight also light up the ground so that everyone following the guide could see the road clearly.

There is a slanted lamps at the other end of the flashlight, pointing 45-degree to the ground. I see a great idea here, but still wish that people would properly armed themselves with emergency tools before entering any dangerous spot.

We have one in the past with the name of Hybrid Flashlight. But It seems it’s not really a LED version, but have stronger features than this newest solar-powered LED flashlight from Chinavasion.

This LED flashlight is also weatherproof, integrated with 10-bright LED lights, solar paneled, and comes with built-in rechargeable Li-Ion battery. So as long as the sun still shine like usual, you will never have to replace the battery. One charge will gives LED flashligh a whopping 50,000 hours of battery life time. Absolutely another good flashlight if it won’t cost you much for owning one.

Well, it actually didn’t cost you much because the retail price is $14.69. But Chinavasion ask you to buy two of it instead of one and get a huge price sliced down to $9.79 only! In need of a new never-die-as-long-as-the-sun-is-there LED flashlight? Then you should consider to get two of them.

If you ask me what is the coolest lamp/flashlight for this month, I would answer you with this latest Sanyo Eneloop Lamp code name ENL-Y1S. The reason is because this lamp is not just a lamp. It has a flashlight, and it also has a ‘Healing light’ that can generate a soothing healing ambiance with its built-in blue lamp.

To turn this Sanyo Eneloop Lamp into a LED flashlight is as easy as tilting the lamp 90 degrees similar to the picture below:

Sanyo Eneloop Lamp is actually a 3-in-1 lamp gadget. First, it will act as your Interior light decoration (see picture one above) with 2 mode selection (clear Mode and Fade Mode).

Second, Sanyo Eneloop will generate a blue ambiance ‘healing light‘ effect for your at the night time (see picture 2), and the last one is as your flashlight when you lift it up. No need to push any button to turn it into flashlight because it has a built-in acceleration sensor. It will senses movement and can automatically turns on the flashlight so you can pretty much rely on it when in emergency situation.

Sanyo Eneloop Flashlight lamp will going to hit the market on this September 11th. But no pricing information yet until today. We’ll update it once it has become available.

The NoPoPo Mini Lantern is pure craziness: a lamp powered with nothing but water! Simple to use, rechargable almost anywhere, and lasting up to ten years without losing charge, the NoPoPo is a perfect addition to any emergency kit, camping gear, survival set, and more. The versatile mini lantern can be used as either a flashlight or a unidirectional lantern; just slide the cover up to change modes.

Folks at RGS said using urine as the substitution probably doable. But I’m not sure if the NoPoPo battery will be damage or not. But overall, this is a cool emergency gadget despite of its retro looking.

After last year with their new solar charger, Energizer has released yet another cool gadget to support our life. This time, Energizer is trying to ruled over the flashlight market by releasing their “Hard Case Tactical Flashlight”, the so called King of LEDs flashlight because the device has 70 lumens white LED, and green, red, blue, and IR LED.

LED flashlight is suspected to be the next generation flashlight thanks to the cool functions such as super bright and very durable to any situation. Energizer developed this Hard Case Tactical Flashlight perhaps is to follow this trend and this product is actually a revision or the 2nd generation of Energizer flashlight (It seems we have missed the 1st generation).

Energizer Hard Case Tactical Flashlight has an interesting rotating head design, and it’s created in a more practical method. Although this gadget need two AA batteries to lights up properly, in an emergency situation where you are lack of battery, with just one piece of battery could give you some light. This is amazing because I’ve never seen such a flashlight yet.

The base of the light is flat enough for that it can stand up straight, with the head swiveling almost 180 degrees. It’s a particularly useful feature when you don’t have a spare hand to hold up a light. Though it appears bulky, it’s one of the more versatile lights we’ve seen in a while. –Seth Porges

Energizer Hard Case Tactical Flashlight will be available soon with suggested price of $125. It’s expensive, I agree. But looking at the multiple functions and features, I guess it worth the money.

You may ask: “Why Garden Nozzle with flashlight?” and my answer is this garden nozzle might not for the diligent you who keep on time to taking care of your garden every morning. I think it’s more for those who have little problem with time management or super busy so they are force to water their plant at night where they can’t see things clearly. So a flashlight on a Garden Nozzle is very helpful for them.

The flashlight require 2 pieces of AA batteries to light on and if you are really need one of them, get it for $12.49 at Restoration hardware.

Star Wars Lightsaber flashlight

Last time we have the similar lightsaber in form of chopsticks and USB mini light. Now it’s a flashlight! Looks more interesting than the previous gadgets because it have real-looking handle and an invisible laser-like red light flashing through the lightsaber.

Darth Vader Lightsaber flashlight

What’s surprised me is the price, guys! It’s only $9.99 at the Star Wars Freaks store. So cheap and it only require one battery which already included with the purchase! Sounds like a great deal, huh?

I’m not sure if you’ve ever walking in a night street while raining. An umbrella which can keep us dry and a flashlight to help use see the dark road is extremely useful!

Totes spotted this needs, and they created Light ‘N Go which combining both compact size umbrella and a flashlight over the bottom handle. Here is the snapshot:

There is two button on Light ‘N Go umbrella. First one is for the flashlight and the second is to stretch the umbrella open. The canopy is pretty big (44″) to cover all of your upper body.

If you are interested, you can find it at Totes-isotoner.com for only $25.

If you are a college student who share room with a room mate, this Super Slim LED Page Light would be pretty useful for you. As an alternative for your desk lamp, this gadget is very portable, which let made study in the dark easier.

Sometimes our room mate will be very sensitive and ask for a light off so he/she can sleep well. At that moment, just pick this Super Slim LED Page Light on your palm, and put it behind the page that you wanna read.

You will see a clear words, with less light which won’t hurt your eyes for long time reading.

Amazingly easy to use. Super Slim LED Page Light only need 4 pieces of AAA batteries to power-up the 4 bright white LEDs on this gadget. It’s pretty lightweight (210g only) and Thin to slip it between your pages.
Basically, 4 pieces of batteries enable you to read continuously for 40 hours. I suggest you to buy a rechargable one to save more money.
