Another LED Monitor has popped out to the market tagging the HANNSG brand. This LED Monitor is known as HL245, which is a 23.6-inch LED monitor that featuring impressive 15,000,000:1 DCR (Dynamic Contrast Ratio) with 1000:1 typical contrast ratio, 250cd/m2 brightness level, full HD support 1920 x 1080, has standard 5ms response time and 170/160 degree viewing angle.

As for the connection, HANNSG HL245 LED Monitor is not coming with HDMI port. Instead, HL245 is only coming with VGA and DVI-D (HDCP) connection. HANNSG HL245 23.6-inch LED monitor is going to retail for $218 when hitting the market. It’s not really an expensive LED monitor. Sadly, no news when it will hit the States.

It seems the popularity of Kinect wireless controller has really make an impact. Things has started to move on the way to reach the state of where you could virtually control everything with gesture. It gives more futuristic touch to products that will appear in the upcoming age and eliminate the need of remote controllers.

Unveiled by a company called Evoluce, this I-Voluce is an unique 46-inch display that could be controlled via your hand gestures when you are in front of it. Of course, it should has some kind of 3D sensor that could detect like Kinect before the display can actually understand what you are dancing about. According to what the source has claimed, This Evoluce I-Voluce digital display is capable of detecting gesture controller from 4 meters away.

Evoluce I-Voluce 46-inch display is made for Windows 7 as the native OS support, and it’s been stated that the device can control all sorts of Windows apps and Software using only gestures control.

Even though the company haven’t clearly declare how the gesture control will work, we have guess it could be sensitive enough to know how your hand sweep across the screen like Kinect, and using mouse will be an optional need if you this I-Voluce can be used on a PC system.

Cowon has introduced their latest Portable media Player dubbed as V5S. This Cowon V5S PMP is not only slim, it’s also capable of handling full HD Video playback on its core. Sadly, the Cowon V5S PMP is only getting 4.8-inch screen that support 800x480p resolution. However, Cowon V5S is also a smart player that has built-in ebook reader with several dictionaries like English, Korean and Chinese to support Korean students for improving their skills.

BenQ is coming up with another new series of LED monitors using VA or vertical alignment technology. Known as EW2430 and EW2430V series, these 24-inch LED monitors are featuring full HD resolution, 3,000:1 contrast ratio with up to 20,000,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio, and BenQ’s Senseye Human Vision technology.

These VA LED monitors has two HDMI port, one D-Sub and one DVI port to support all old and new interface. It was reported that BenQ EW2430 and EW2430V will be available in Europe and Asia Pasific in this Q1 of 2011. No pricing details yet.

Streaming content from PC To HDTV might not be a new stuff, but the ability to stream ‘wirelessly’ any 1080p full HD content from PC to your HDTV is indeed a news.

Warpia recently unveiled their device called StreamHD that could stream any content from your computer directly to your HDTV in full HD 1080p setting.

There are two devices that will come along with the package. One dongle for your PC (via USB) and another one via adapter/receiver that has a HDMI port, digital audio port and headphone port.

Warpia StreamHD can stream wirelessly in the range of 30 feet, but I’ve no idea if this device can stream through wall or not.

Warpia StreamHD is now available via Amazon. If you are interested to know more before buying, you can go to CES 2011 with the exact location at in the South Hall (#35888) and Venetian Tower (#237).

This is the ViewSonic VX2258, a Full HD 1920 x 1080p display that has a surprising low 100,000:1 DCR (Dynamic Contrast Ratio). It’s really low because BenQ, Philips and Gateways has going ahead sporting DCR higher than 12,000,000:1.

Perhaps the low DCR is to support the multi-touch functionality of the display, but luckily this ViewSonic VX2258 has been certified by Windows 7 Touch panel function, so you are safe that this monitor won’t be a disappointing gadget for multi-touch purposes.
