Dreaming about the future is always an interesting thing to do. I’ve envision how human can fly around with using anti-gravity jacket, running leopard-fast by wearing suit with robotic frame, and so on. However, that’s not what in Microsoft’s mind.

Microsoft has published an interesting imaginary of what they call their future. The following video will tease you how easy you can translate any printed text in any language to your understanding by wearing a special “translator glasses”. Also, notice how everything in the interaction is kind of holographic, pop-up like a 3-dimension object where user can interact with.

I would really love to have this kind of future even there is no robotic maid found in the demo. It’s interesting to see my fridge’s content without opening the door, playing 3D-holographic-like games, connecting with workmates in an interactive ways and more.

However, the question is, can we really expect to have this kind of future?

Check out this interesting concept to light up your staircase. It’s visually beautiful, but I can also translate it into a true horror looking staircase which often seen in Horror movie.

Design by Zoran Sunjic from Croatia, this LED staircase handrail is using an energy saving material – a ‘LED’ which will consume less energy and eco-friendlier if you compare it with fluorescent bulbs.

It’s still concept though, and no idea when it will be implemented to the concrete building.

Now that’s what I call a future of car design is. The most important of new generation car design is less emission, less noise, and environment friendly. Electric Dauphin is one of the design for future and nature balance.

Using Battery as the main power, Electric Dauphin won’t emit anything that could hurt our beloved earth. One charge at a time could make Electric Dauphin Rolling on the road for 300 Kilometers “almost” noiseless. This is pretty strong since it can speeding up to 150 km/h.

Complete with all mobility and traveling needs, this car is designed to have an advance communication system to make live easier.

“The car can communicate with the home computer wirelessly through the internet server, and users can receive information when needed, be it basics like maps, directions etc.

This one is surely a class apart.”

There is no information about how long we battery until reaching the maximum state. Also, there is no further information from Ricardo Baiao, the designer of Electric Dauphin about the release date and how this gadget is going to “charge” our pocket.

Future imagination has become more and more interesting by a man like him. Let see what else he could design for us.
