LED monitor has become the newest trending in desktop computing, that’s why most popular manufacturers has started their own venture into creating their own LED monitors series, including Viewsonic, Acer, LG, Samsung, Gateway and so on. Gateway has stepped in further by announcing their first three new Slim-profile LED Monitors codenamed as FHD2303L, FHX2152L and FHX2402L.

The FHD2303L has the most attractive design, where it has a transparent frame and a strange stand that making the monitor looks like floating in the air. They call it asymmetrical stand, pretty a jargon to me, but as long as it’s nice looking and can stand firmly, that should be fine.

Gatewaty FHD2303L has a 23-inch display, 5ms response rate, 12,000,000:1 contrast ratio LED backlighting, Energy Star and RoHS Qualifications, VGA and DVI ports. No HDMI port mentioned just yet. Meanwhile, both FHX2152L and FHX2402L share the similar specs, except the screen size. FHX2152L has 21.5-inch screen while FHX2402L is the largest at 24-inch large.

As for the pricing, both Gateway FHD2303L and FHX2402L will cost $249.99, and Gateway FHX2152L will cost $189.99 only. They should be available in this month.

Gateway Incorporated, an Acer Inc. subsidiary has made two of their new laptop available at Canada, Namely the LT32 and LT22, this compact laptops are powered by AMD Athlon II Neo K125 processor, DDR3 RAM and ATI Radeon HD 4225 Graphic chipset. You can consider this LT32 and LT22 as Acer Aspire One 521 and 721 because they have a similar specification.

Looking at the Gateway LT32, this laptop provided 11.6-inch of 1366×768 pixel resolution LED-backlit display, 320GB HDD, and 6-cell battery that offer about 5.5 hours of battery life. Meanwhile, Gateway LT22 has a smaller screen at 10.1-inch support 1024×600, 250GB HDD, and the same 6-cell battery that could work continuously for 6.5 hours.

Both notebooks has supported WiFi b/g/n and it has a Gigabit ethernet LAN RJ-45 port provided for cable-mode home networking. They are priced at CAD$449.99 and CAD$349.99, respectively.

Gateway has refreshed its Touchscreen All-in-One PC ZX6900 with more powerful CPU while maintaining the cost as low as possible. This 23-inch ZX6900 Touchscreen All-in-One PC will now get the Core i3 or Core i5 CPU treatment, which will run on 2.93Ghz and 3.2Ghz, respectively.

This updated version of ZX6900 will come with 4GB of RAM, 640GB of HDD and one Blu-ray combo drive that can read at 4x speed. The basic rigs of Gateway ZX6900 Touchscreen All-in-One PC is $1,020 and up, and it will become available in June 2010 (around the first week).

Acer has released an announcement of their new Gateway Laptop and it’s their first laptop system to have the Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q9000 2.0Ghz attached. The code name of this Acer Gateway is P79003FX, it has a huge 17-inch that support 1440×900 maximum resolution, and you will get other high specs such as 4GB of RAM, 500GB of HDD (not SSD yet), eSATA, HDMI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and last but not least the Blu-Ray Drive for play HD video and contents. No further information about what kind of GPU attached on this laptop.

Acer Gateway P79003FX core 2 quad notebook will be first available in Japan, but no news when it will hit the US market and the worldwide availability. The price tag for this Gateway P79003FX notebook is 190,000 Yen or equal to €1465.

The latest trends on desktop computing seems to switching to the All-in-One type of PC. Well, it’s all thanks to the netbook technology, now everything seems to be so mini-sized, even the desktop PC that always looks bulky.

Perhaps that’s the reason for Gateway to produce their latest ZX2300 All-in-One PC that looks slim and workspace friendly.

Gateway ZX2300 All-in-One PC is powered by AMD Athlon 2650e Processor, 1GB RAM, and Windows XP Home as the stable Operating System. ZX2300 have 160GB hard drive (not SSD yet) comes along and the screen size of 18.5-inch is enough for you to punch 1366 x 788 high resolution to view your movie, or a larger workspace.

Gateway ZX2300 All-in-One PC also features Wi-Fi connection and Lightscribe DVD burner. By looking at the spec above, I think Gateway ZX2300 is not using all of the latest technology yet. Such as the Blu-ray drive, Using AMD instead of Intel Atom, no SSD, no touch screen (while HP TouchSmart all-in-one PC have it!), no HDTV or 1080p movie playback.

The price is $530 and will be first appear in Taiwan before reaching the US of A.
