Hatachi has announced a new series of UltraStar HDD codenamed as 7K3000, which has a huge storage capacity at 3TB. This hard drive is coming with 7,200RPM, 6Gb/s SATA and 6Gb/s SAS interface, it also saving about 32 percent of power (watts/GB) with 50% more capacity.
