“You are now free to use your e-Reader in the dark” sounds like a great slogan for those who love to read their stuff in dim room. Up to date, if you want to read something on your ebook reader without your room properly lit, you’ll have to equipped yourself with a portable torch or lighting accessories for the ebook reader like a portable lamp or something. Sometimes it’s quite annoying because ebook can’t produce the light itself like what Tablet device could. However, the problem is now solved by a company called Flex lighting because they’ve developed something called Illuminated optical film that will act as the light source for your ebook reader so you can read your ebooks in the dark.

This Chicago-based company promises that the illuminated optical film is going to enhance the reading experience. Their thin film is not only super thin, but also capable of delivery enough illumination from a single LED light source to the entire film surface. The thickness is just 50 micron, the light source is kind of soft glow and won’t give glare to your eyes. Watch the following video for more details:

We have been a great fans of glowing stuffs and always amazed by the illumination arts done by the artists. Cub Lamp is no exception. Design by Julian Robin, Cub Lamp is the first real wood looking wood block (but it’s actually a fake!) that has a illumination from the inner side.

Are you one of the glowing stuffs lover like us? If so, you might fall for this cool glowing speaker with USB hub.

Guess what, this cool blue glowing speaker is another great creation from Brando. The shape of this USB speaker is pretty similar with the previous capsule speaker with added functions.

The size of this Cool illuminated speaker/USB Hub combo is pretty small and compact, so the speaker can be conveniently stuffed it into your laptop bag and carry it effortlessly. Of course, the sound quality will not as good as the dedicated speaker system, but at less it could be a beautiful speaker that you can use it to expand your USB port in case you are using a netbook with minimum USB port supplied.

Brando has released another cool gadget – the USB Tube Delight Audio for geek to ‘Ahh and ‘Oohh’ over the prettiness. It’s actually a Sound card for laptop, and pretty useful if your laptop doesn’t come with integrated sound card. Well, although I think most of Laptop nowadays (including Netbook) did come with sound card, so the functionality of USB Tube Delight Audio as a sound card become pretty useless. The only thing that might interest you is the cool blue illumination when you plug it into your USB port. Kinda have a soothing effect while you are typing in the dark.

I can’t bear the temptation to not featuring this See-Thru Cell Phone from LG. Yes, I know I was just covering the LG Solar Powered Cell Phone, but this See-Thru Cell Phone from LG is really holy-cowly COOL!

Personally, I love thin stuffs. it feels comfortable and have more asthetics view than the biggie hardware. I have thin keyboards and I know exactly the enjoyment of typing with them. Logitech Illuminated Keyboard not only have a cool shape and led lighting effect, it’s also made typing effortlessly.
