Kenwood, the old player in audio equipment has announced their new Compact Audio System dubbed as C-414. This compact audio system has built-in FM Radio tuner, CD player, and dedicated iPhone or iPod dock to let you browse and play your favorite collection directly from your iPhone/iPod.

Also, Kenwood C-414 Compact Audio System has come with DTS Envelo Technology that gives you direct access to your external storage (SD card, USB drive, iPhone/iPod) music library, and a boost in audio quality reproduction.

I have one set of Kenwood Speakers, so I know that the sound quality is top notch and most of their audio product is excellent. But I can’t make sure of it after seing this new Kenwoord OLED Speakers founded by Japan’es Yamagata University. It seems Professor Junji Kido, the mastermind behind this Kenwood OLED speakers making this new set of OLED speaker for emergency usage, such as the OLED will display the emergency exit icon while the built-in speaker will act as a loudspeaker for announcement, not for entertainment purpose.

Kenwood OLED Speakers is practically an energy-efficient invention for the extraordinary purpose. Green solution to save the earth, while at the same time it could be a good life-saver device.

Kenwood SP0001 is a cool yet chic looking blue LED illuminated glass speakers. It certainly can add a ernomous amount of soothing effects to your shady room and you get a shining blue diamond effect as the light is coming out from the all glass frame and case.

By judging from its cool looking, you might think Kenwood SP0001 will also have a ‘kicking’ sounds for your audio entertainment. But Kenwood SP0001 glass speakers might turn you down as it only capable of punching out 10W per speaker (2 x 10W). It should be similar with your desktop active speaker, as it doesn’t comes with sub woofer.

What really matter is the price. Kenwood SP0001 Glass Speaker has a hell high price of $1,000 per set. Availability is questionable for US market. But you can actually buy it if you heads to the Sakura Viewing Country, Japan.

Just a day ago Kenwood released their newest digital audio amplifier called Prodino. Kenwood Prodino is a small size digital amplifier which support almost all mini flash card such as SD / SDHC / miniSD / microSDHC with up to 32Gb memory support.

Kenwood Prodino also have the capability to re-produce music to MP3, WMA or AAC popular audio files. Both of the speaker can provides you up to 10Wx2 in the maximum output power state.

You’ll be able to see the launching in the beginning of this November. The price is registered at 45,000 Yen, or around $600+.
