Korean Designers Sangwoo Park and Jongwon Park has come up with a rather interesting (and cute) concept for iPhone stand. It’s a tail shaped stand that equipped with suction cup at the other end to stick to the phone’s flat surface and it could let the phone stand on both landscape and portrait position.

This mobile tail stand is made of flexible silicone material, the suction plate is polished and the tail is coated with matt surface. The material is non-reactive, high-purity material and it could be uses on any flat backplate phones. Other interesting thing is the packaging box. It looks like a mouse tail exposed from the tiny hole that looks rather cute and dirty (if you dislike rats, of course).

Sadly, this Mobile Tail is just a concept at the moment. No idea if the designer is capable of pushing their concept to the product stage or not.

In Seoul, Korea, a company name Kee Utility has introduced a surprisingly useful docking station for your iPhone. They called it as “Desk Phone Dock” station, where it can turn your iPhone into a conventional retro wired desk phone for office or home.

This gadget is being shown on China Sourcing Fair 2010, the dock station has added more capability that is non-existing in the retro wired phone. Example? You can run a contact name lookup instantly without flipping any name card book anymore.

At the same time, your iPhone is always fully charged and you can just unplug it if you need to go out. The Desk Phone Dock has also coming with two built-in stereo speakers, microphone, instant mute function and volume control.

InterPark, a Korean company recently has just released a cool and chic looking e-Book reader for Korean Market. It dubbed as the Biscuit, this e-book reader is certainly tasty looking. It has a completely different taste, and unlike Amazon Kindle, InterPark Biscuit has a set of comfortable button design. Of course, to compete with Amazon Kindle International, InterPark Biscuit is coming with no network limitation, fully compatible with the 3G network in Korea (or worldwide – if you can understand Korean), and it has 4GB internal memory, as well as 6-inch e-ink display.

InterPark Biscuit e-Book reader is not supporting touchscreen yet, but to overcome this weakness, it has come with the support of a wide range of text file formats, such as ePub, PDF, MS Office (doc, docx, ppt, pptx, xls, xlsx), hwp, TXT, and you can also use the Interpark Biscuit e-book reader to browse through bmp, jpg, png and gif images.

To cheer up your reading time, InterPark biscuit also has the capability of audio playback, which mean you can play your favorite MP3 songs while reading on your books. InterPark Biscuit e-book reader is carrying the price tag of 398,000 Won, no availability published yet it is available now in Korea, but I assume it won’t be coming to US market any time soon.

DoDoNa S-100 MP3 Players is kind of the old iPod in Cube shape. The title says it all. However, DoDoNa S-100 MP3 player did implemented several improvements thanks to the Cube shape where the Korea manufacturer can squeeze more stuffs in (such as the buttons above the screen).

DoDoNa S-100 MP3 Players has 1.1-inch OLED screen, where it could display 96 x 96 pixels resolution to show you what’s playing, it also has integreated loudspeaker, 4GB of internal storage, FM radio, support MP3, OGG, WMA and FLAC and the last but not least, a 15-hours continuous playback using headphone or 8 hours through speaker. The battery life is certainly not too shabby.

Ripple, a Korean PC manufacturer has recently added a stylish mini PC called ‘Ripple Look’. Ripple Look is not only stylish in case design, you will also have the option to choose from range of funky colors that suit your needs.

Specs-wise, Ripple Look is a Mini PC powered by Intel Dual Core Processor and inside has been equipped with Intel GMA X4500 graphic chipset and one 2.5-inch HDD to store your data and OS. According to AVING, Ripple Look has comes with DirectX 10 supports; however, it won’t let you play the most modern 3D games (e.g. CoD) because the FPS might be horrible.

Although it’s not capable of playing 3D games, Ripple Look has comes with Full HD video support which turning this Mini PC into a Mini HTPC. Other features that you may found are the inclusion of 4-USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet port, and audio in/out ports.

We still have no word regarding pricing and availability on this stylish Ripple Look Mini PC, and when it will hit US and Europe market is still a mystery.

TG Sambo, a Korean company is going to launch their own gaming laptop for A.V.A soon. Recently they have unveiled the Averatec 7, a Windows 7 64-bit OS gaming laptop that has been equipped with Intel Core i7 processor to support the online shootinng game A.V.A. Averatec 7 has also been equipped with 500GB or storage, 4GB of RAM, and I assume it will be upgradable to 8GB thanks to the 64-bit OS.

Averatec 7 Gaming laptop got a good 15.6-inch wide LED backlit LCD screen, support 16:9 wide screen aspect ratio and it also has several kind of modern connectivity such as HDMI, e-SATA and bluetooth.

Averatec 7 Gaming notebook PC also equipped with Intel’s Turbo Boost Technology, where you caan boost your CPU to run faster than its default clock speed to improve performance. However, we have no idea on what kind of graphic card hosted inside.

Nowadays PMP or Portable Media Player is really convenience. Let’s say this new FineDrive iQ500 PMP from Korea. Beside you can hear music and watch movies, you can now use it to save your car’s oil because it has a built-in GPS personal navigator.

Based on the name of this PMP, its focus is to help driver arrive at their destination faster by taking the shortcuts and make the PMP features as a complementary stuff. FineDrive iQ500 is powered by 600MHz ARM processor, and running under Windows CE.

It has a 7-inch screen supporting up to 800 x 480px screen. You can watch certain movie files, such as MP4, ASF, AVI, MPEG and WMV videos. It also have a built-in DMB TV tuner.

At the audio side, you can use FineDrive iQ500 PMP to play MP3, AAC, AMR, QCP, WAV, FLAC, MID, OGG and WMA audio files. Pretty complete and you can store your media files on its 4GB or 8GB internal memory, expansible using SDHC slot up to 32GB.

No words about the price, and it’s only available in Korea.

Another Mini PC is going to launch this Mid September from Korean Manufacturer, Celrun. Same as the Shuttle X27 whihc operated with the Intel Atom Processor, Celrun Lluon A1 Mini PC using the same processor, but an large LCD monitor is integrated.

Celrun Lluon A1 Mini PC is basically a Multimedia Home entertainment PC, not a performance freak for hardcore gamers. Featuring the large LCD, built-in speaker, and a microphone, it’s very suitable for music & movies playback and skype or VOIP chatting.

The design itself is a fused between Apple iMacs and oldie folkie classic laptop design. I find this pretty cool since someone will eventually get bore of the Apple iMac will get another choices of design with a different platform.

Same as Shuttle X27, the price is still unknown. But you may get the price in this September. Just stay tune to this blog if are interested with this Korean Celrun Lluon A1 Mini PC.
