LG 3D LCD TV has pulled SkyLife into the partnership to broadcast 3D contents and SkyLife will start another trial next year on January to test the responses. The previous trial with LG 3D HDTV has been a successful campaign, where up to 75 percent of consumers who’ve seen the 3D images would like to see more, and up to 58 percent of users want to buy 3D LCD HDTV for their family.

There has been one 3D LCD TV released this year by LG coded as 47LH503D and LG has planned to release more range of 3D LCD TVs with the size of the screen ranging from 42 to 72-inch in next year.
More good news is, LG seem want to go further into this 3D stuffs and it has an initiative to push 3D technology to their projector, too.

The future world in Korea would be interesting. Something curious to see is, when the broadcaster in the State to follow this movement offering 3D broadcasting for household entertainment?

LG has just set another world’s record by introducing us their thinnest 2.6mm only LED LCD TV. This LED TV is based on LED-backlit technology similar to most of the recent release by its competitor. The revealed specs of this 2.6mm thick LED backlit HDTV is full HD support 1080p at 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 4 kilograms in weights and it will be available in one model only at 42-inch.

Dr. In Jae Chung, LG Display’s CTO and Executive Vice President noted, “With the development of the world’s thinnest LED LCD TV panel that is only 2.6mm thick, LG Display has once again demonstrated its technical prowess to satisfy customer demand for high resolution and slim design products. We will continue to spur R&D activities in order to provide our customers and the market with the differentiated products that they desire.”

This LG 2.6mm thick LED LCD HDTV will be fully revealed on CES Exhibition next year on January 2010 in Sin City, Vegas.

Korea is the first country to get the 3D TV show and LG want to act upon it by releasing another one of Full HD 3D LCD Monitor after their 42LH50 or 47LH50 models. LG New Full HD 3D LCD Monitor is featuring a 23-inch LCD display, where it the images is viewable only if you are wearing a special shutter glasses. Similar to most of 3D LCD Monitors, the image will looks blur with bare eyes. Here is the example:

Mr. Davis Lee, LG Display’s Vice President and head of IT marketing department, noted “LG Display has made a major breakthrough in the display industry race to deliver the depth and dynamic nature of 3D images. LG Display will continue with efforts to keep pace with the fast growing 3D market with leading 3D technology and products in order to create new value for customers.”

The only missing thing is we have not yet to known what is the price tag for this LG Full HD 3D LCD Monitor. According to the press release, the 3D monitor will be shipped some time in 2010 but no idea with the retail price and exact date of release.
