Sadly, Pioneer haven’t make the leap to the new standard of USB 3.0 yet. This Pioneer BDR-XD04J is still using the old USB 2.0 connection standard, which the speed has been limited to 480Mbps only. To protect the burning process, there is a 4MB buffer memory installed inside so that no error would be made when burning a BD disc.

This slimmest external blu-ray drive is going to be marketed on January 2012 for about $230 USD.

Who said that no one could beat Macbook Air in weight and shape? Samsung recently rolled out a lighter and cooler looking laptop to beat Macbook out of the universe! The code name is X360 which is very close to XBox 360 without the “Box”!

You’ll have the picture below:

Samsung X360 Laptop - Lightest Laptop

Weight in only 1.27Kg, which is 0.09Kg lighter than Macbook Air (1.36kg). I’ve said it’s cooler because personally, I love black stuff. I know I should be objective, but don’t you agree that black is cooler that gray or white?

I’m growing bored by the single color selection of what Apple Macbook air has to offer. If there is an alternative to a better and stylish laptop, I would try it instead keeping my fanaticism on Apple’s product.

This stylish Samsung X360 is not only beautiful, it also offers the following tasty specs and features:

Centrino 2 ULV processor

4GB of RAM

Blue-tooth

Wi-Fi (support 802.11n)

DVD rewriter

Built in 1.3 MP webcam

HDMI out

Latest 128GB Solid State Drive (SSD) Storage

13.3″ Display

Long 10 hours battery life for single recharge

The single long 10 hours battery life has blow my mind away. Compare to common laptop which only can stand good for several hours, 10 hours of battery life could be the best product for those who living in a country that often having a blackout.

Oh, I really envy this spec and really love to have one when it become available. According to the source, we can enjoy this Laptop around this September with the price mark between $2,000 – $3,000. And lastly, would this Samsung X360 become the killer of the current Macbook Air? Well, only you can decide it!
