Last week ASUS has slipped in handful of new tablet, and we’d like to highlight some of them. Let’s start with this cool ASUS Eee Pad MeMO that will run Google’s latest Tablet OS Android HoneyComb. The specification is pretty predictable, since it’s running HoneyComb in its core it should has dual core processor and HD display. In this case, ASUS Eee Pad MeMO tablet is powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm SnapDragon 8260 dual core processor, and it has 7-inch 1024×600 capacitive touchscreen display.

With the help of the OS, ASUS Eee Pad MeMO is capable of supporting 1080p Full HD video playback using micro HDMI output. Also the tablet can record video using its 5MP rear camera with LED flash, and one 1.2MP front-facing camera for video chatting.

To support the touchscreen display, ASUS has included one nail-like silver color stylus for taking notes or drawing on the surface using Media Note Note-taking app and Painter app.

Well it hit the store, ASUS Eee Pad MeMO Android HoneyComb tablet is expected to be selling at MSRP $499.

Writing message on sticky notes and stick it to the fridge has been the best way to leave a message for your child while you are away to the grocery stores. But not until this Digital Video fridge magnet popped out to the market.

You can now use the better method of leaving a message, including all of your emotional expression in 30 seconds.

Seeing as it’s the 21st Century you’d have thought we’d evolved past the point of sticky notes left on a fridge door. The Digital Video Memo takes that bold leap into the future and gives you a fridge magnet that you can record a 30 second video message on. Just look into the camera, press the record button and leave whatever message you want.

It’s designed to be as simple as possible so it only records one message at a time to avoid confusion. Let the kids know where you’ve hidden their dinner on the 1.5 inch LED screen, remind the other half to take the dog for a walk or just tell your wife that you love her – all of this is possible with this nifty fridge magnet. When it runs out of juice just hook it up for a quick recharge via USB and it’s good to go again. Isn’t the future a wonderful place?

Features:

A fridge magnet with built-in video camera and 1.5 inch LED screen.

Record up to 30 seconds of video.

Push one button to record and another to playback – it’s that simple.

Only one message can be recorded at a time.

Built-in USB rechargeable battery.

Suitable for ages 12 years +.

Size: 6.5 x 6.5 x 2 cm.

It’s absolutely better than the yellow note stick on your fridge’s door. Beside it’s interactive, the gadget is pretty easy to use. Though you can only record 30 seconds at a time, I think it enough for just a message for your child (I think you’d prefer for a call if you want to have a long conversation).

This Digital Video Memo with Fridge Magnet is yours for only £29.99 at iWantOneOfThose.

If you place this Memo Block on your desktop, it will stand 15cm tall like a real wood block. So far Memo block is still circulating in Japan and there is no word when this block of post it notes will come out from the country of rising sun. No word on the pricing either.
