Sometimes a fan of a stuff can do crazy things because they are so in love with their “stuff”. Well, I wouldn’t dare to spend thousands to get my “heroes” merchandises or even have to mod my computer into something so “space eating” to just make sure that my friends (or the world) knows that I’m a fan of my ‘hero’. Well, that’s only me. Different story told by this amazing member called Boddaker from Cooler Master Forum.

Obviously, Boddaker is a PC enthusiast, and at the same time he is a true ‘Tron Legacy’ fans. Fans can contribute in unlimited kind of ways to show their love and passion, so Boddaker as a PC enthusiast, has re-created the popular vehicle in the movie – the Light Cycle as his computer case!

See? that’s what a fan could do – I would call it crazy stuff, but also admired their devotion their something they love. This amazing Tron Legacy Light Cycle PC Case is put together with acrylic board using Plasti-Paste outline. All of the components have been arranged neatly into the center room of the light cycle, where you can view it through the transparent glass side door glowed with blue LED lights.

Obviously, this case mod is one of the coolest case modding of the year for Tron Legacy. Well done Boddaker! It’s nice that the Tron Keyboard and mouse also make their appearance in the photo.

Someone has just took the slow moving (but safe) Segway vehicle into a fast moving (with some sort of risk for the driver) by modding the small wheels into a larger wheels. According to the report, this modded Segway is the fastest moving Segway that could travel at the speed of 25 miles per hour or 40km/hour.

It seems there is no modification with the engine, so anyone with a segway could do the same modification if you want it to move faster. Just make sure don’t overdoing it by recreating a larger wheels for your Segway. It might become your fastest highway to hell…

As you may have known from the start, Nintendo GameCube has a big square box dimension. So, to be able to squeeze the component into a small and tight space is absolutely a state of art. While it’s compact, Techknott’s still allocated space for holding 5-inch LCD screen, 2 external controller ports, an AV output, and built-in memory card.

This is so cool and I’m sure most GameCube fans would love to get one of this. Well, you are lucky if you are one of them because currently, this item is up for sale in Ebay for £310 GBP (about $484 USD).

Yep, the title say it all. It’s the result when iPad met with a smart kitchen dweller. Alan Daly, the smart guy in this modding has show off his magnificent skill to turn his warm-heart kitchen into a high-tech kitchen (with love). He used a jigsaw cutters to dig a hole in his cabinet in his kitchen, and turn the blank face cabinet door into a touch-interactive surface where he can browse the web searching for tasty receipt for cooking (I guess the primary purpose would be to search for cooking receipts).

He is actually using his cabinet door to be the “case” of his iPad. To minimize the risk, Alan Daly has prepared a replacement cabinet door in case his project failed him. Although his wife thought he was nuts to cut and make hole in her kitchen out of sudden, but with God’s bless, The iPad Kitchen Cabinet Mod is successful and his final result is magnificent! I’m sure his wife will love him even more thanks to his simple DIY project.

Oh, did I heard someone saying “I want to make one too, for my mom as a Mother’s Day Gift!” ? I guess this will be a great gift idea to help moms go hi-tech!

Apple iPad is coming, but 3th April is three weeks to go. It may looks near, but 3 weeks might just like waiting for 3 years if the user is really passionate about having one. Well, If you can’t wait any longer and at the same time you’ve some spare MSI Wind Netbook, why don’t you follow Alex Bates from insanelywind.com? He have turned his MSI Wind netbook by hacking into the core, removing the keyboard, add a touchscreen, and turn it to a Franketablet device. Afterward, the hacked MSI Wind netbook is installed with OS X (hackintosh).

The result is one brand new of tablet device resembling an iPad, but with higher storage size, faster processing speed, USB port, card reader and other features that you can’t find it on iPad.

Of course, all those tweaks and hacks require some level of technical know-how and dare-level to dissemble the MSI Wind netbook. If you have all the requirement, you can check it out at InsanelyWind forum.

Jem Stansfield, the creator of this vacuum gloves said that he has created two pieces of the vacuum gloves using household vacuum cleaner which has been modified to have a better suction system. This Vacuum Gloves has made it to the top at the BBC and and show off at the Bang Goes the Theory show. Check out the follow videos for more detail:

Morphius Robot Case Mod was crafted by hand in clay as the basic sculpture, and then the clay model was reproduced again in Silicone mold and finally being re-created using Fiberglass and resin finished with car paints. The Morphius Robot case mod looks very similar with the concept drawing and Maciel Barreto has spent months to create this coolest Case mod from start to finish.

Well Done, Buddy!

What I need to say again about Ben Heck works?! He is a damn cool guy who have got a genius Modding head. After series of console mods, such as the portable Xbox 360 for example, he has gone through another milestone by creating another super cool console mod for PS3 Slim edition. He called it PS3 Slim Laptop, although it looks bulky and heavy to carry around, it’s still the coolest mod (ever!) for PS3 fans boy.

Ben Heck paired up the PS3 Slim Laptop with Gateway’s 17-inch 1775W display and one PS3 Slim. the chassis is completely self-made, and the space inside the machine is enough to store power cord, front slot loading blu-ray drive, air-ventilation with fans equipped to prevent overheating.

Check out the following video for more detail:

This mod is done by Airz. The portable unit itself is not self-made and it’s actually a Made-in-China affordable PMP that could do a whole lots of task such as playing video, music, FM Radio, and NES games. Looking at modding done by Airz, it did has its own good sales value if he is keen enough make a silo of them and sell it on Etsy or eBay.

Haven’t seen one Mod of console that’s been done professionally like this SuperTendo Mod by Marshall. It’s a SNES system, Marshall turn the machine into a portable handheld console with his brilliant Mod skill. If someone with lack of news update seeing this stuff, they will think it as a new handheld gaming gadget produced by a larger company (and probably Made in China or something). But it isn’t. It’s a professional customization by Marshall, and you won’t be able to find it selling elsewhere other than build it yourself. Check out the following image for more wowziness.

Check out this coolest PC Case Mod by polo360x from the Techpowerup forums. It’s a Great Pyramid Tower PC case design with laser cut aluminum frame and a crystal clear glass covers:

It’s certainly a stunning PC case mod and it’s absolutely state of arts. It make my favorite Half-life 2 PC Case mod turn into nothing as cool as this Pyramid PC Case Mod. The specification of this PC Mod is as follow, if you are interested to build the same power house (without the custom made Pyramid, of course) click on each link to check the price at our shopping channel:

It will probably take up to $1,000+ to build the PC with the specification listed above (without the LCD monitor, keyboard, and so on)

The most interesting spot for me is the top of the pyramid. It gives a sense of mysterious feeling to my nerves, and the glowing blue basement that looks like an Alien space ship or something similar.

With the latest hot trend about the upcoming Mac Pro mini, I’ve seen some pictures (fake and “real?”) about it. But I guess some of the enthusiast just can’t wait any longer and go ahead to create their own DIY Mac Mini!

This cool casemod is not actually a Mac Pro, it’s just a chic looking creation by Modder Widefault. The name is Hackintosh Jr. built from sheet of aluminum and hand-shaping mesh. The Specification is not too shabby. It features an Intel Core Duo T2500, Seagate hard drive (laptop size 2.5″) Wi-Fi, etc.

Casemod always looks good, but doesn’t mean it could be the substitution of the new Mac Mini! But overall, it’s nice casemod and I would also try to make one if something wrong with the release of the new Mac Mini.

Imagine you can pimp your car with XBox 360 like this fanatic did. How is your driving experience is going to be?! Exciting? Wonderful? or, dangerous instead?!

Well, according to Xbox slogan: “Life is Short… PLAY MORE!” I agree to a certain degree. But Play more while driving is certainly will drive your life even shorter!

However, I would really “want one” of this modification on my car since I’m viewing it as an artistic touch of a gamer and fully filled by the passion for XBOX 360. This is so cool and I think it will be a suitable concept to submit to Suzuki Corp to help them create a Gamer series cars! Smart!

Only one question though… Can anyone tell me where is the screen?
