It’s quite strange to associate ‘Polaroid’ with anything other that that quick and instant camera that we have decade ago. But the company has just spread their wings and expand their reaches to a new business involving multimedia playback device. That’s what they’ve show us recently with their new 8GB MP4 Player (PMP281-8).

This is the new Polaroid 8GB MP4 Player with 2.8-inch touchscreen display and built-in speaker for instant playback. You can also expand the 8GB to 40GB by adding another 32GB microSD card to the provided slot.

With the default setting of 8GB storage, you can store up to 2,000 songs, up to 12 hours of video, or 16,000 pictures. It also features USB 2.0 port for high speed transfer.
