MSI X370 laptop that uses AMD Fusion processor has finally shipped to some online retailers including Amazon and Newegg. MSI X370 is coming with AMD latest Zecate E-350 APU (accelerated processing unit), 4GB RAM, Radeon HD 6310 GPU, 500GB HDD, HDMI and VGA output and more. Definitely a high specs and it’s only costing $599.99 per unit. You can even get it cheaper at Amazon for $579.99 only.

Amazon is really a crazy online store. Even the product is not yet shipping to customer, they’ve already set the price $20 lower than any other online retailers. Well, left the price alone. Back to the product itself, beside the specs mentioned above, MSI X370 is also coming with 13.4-inch display, 4-in-1 memory card reader, 1.3-megapixel and 8-cell battery that worth about 10 hours of continuous operation.

MSI knows your needs. While others are launching new hardware to impress the market rather than enhancing the user experience, MSI is launching their CX640 laptop as one of the higher end system that care about the user’s need. All most all of us need a fast boosting Windows laptop but it seems it’s not quite there in term of booting speed even it’s the Windows 7 now. However, MSI promises that their CX640 laptop is different. beside it’s pretty powerful, MSI CX640 is claimed to be able to boot up 2 times faster than any standard notebooks in the market.

Specification wise, MSI CX640 is not only faster in booting time, it has been powered by a strong Intel Core i5 processor to run everything in smooth, NVIDIA GeForce GT 520M 1GB GPU to ensure gaming with this laptop is fast and exciting, also it has come with more than enough 8GB DDR3 RAM.

Other specs also include Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 to enhance performance and efficiency, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi connectivity for fastest Internet connection, latest Bluetooth 3.0 connection, 7-in-1 card reader, two USB 2.0 ports and two USB 3.0 ports with SuperSpeed connectivity to ensure no slowness in data transfer.

MSI has launched their GT660R Core i7 gaming laptop in the US and currently the laptop is available at both Amazon and Newegg.

This MSI GT660R gaming laptop is considered as the midstream of gaming laptop because it has a rather minimum Intel Core i7-740QM (1.73Ghz) processor embedded inside. Aside from the processor, the MSI GT660R did come with a discrete NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285M, 6GB of RAM, 1TB of Hard drive (dual-hard drive) to support gaming needs.

However, this laptop didn’t come with a HD display yet. All you can get from the 16-inch display is 1,366×768 resolutions that has become quite a standard of every new laptop (non-gaming version).

Another downside is that MSI GT660R is pretty heavy on its class. You might have trouble carrying it around because it weighs in 7.7 pounds overall (exclude bag and accessories).

However, it MSI GT660R has some nice looking ‘gimmicks’, which is the light and glows on the sideways and the touchpad. It might help you settle it down on your desk and make it as your desktop replacement instead of totting it around.

MSI GT660R has features two USB 3.0 ports, one eSATA/USB combo port, three USB 2.0 ports, one HDMI port, an analog VGA port, as well as an express card slot. You will also get a built-in Blu-ray combo player, Gigabit LAN for corded network connection, or go wireless with WiFi 802.11b/g/n.

As for the system, you will get a Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit pre-installed. Amazon and Newegg have this item right now on sale for $1,699. No customization options available. We suggest to get an external HD monitor if you wish to watch HD Movie.

MSI has just cramped out a new gaming laptop under the series name of GX640. MSI GX640 features 15.4-inch LCD Display that support up to 1680 x 1050 pixels (Weird though, Why MSI don’t want it to be 1080p instead!).

This piece of gaming laptop is coming with Intel Core i5 2.26GHz with turboboost capability, and it has a discreet ATI Radeon HD 5850 graphics card that has support the newest Microsoft DirectX 11 to power up the latest gaming requirement.

Apart from the two main giant of component, you can also find 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 500GB of 7,200RPM Har drive, bluetooth, WiFi b/g/n and a 2MP web camera with high-response rate.

The shape of this MSI GX640 gaming laptop is similar with other GX series gaming laptop, black brushed aluminum inner design with brave flaming red color strip at the edge circling the entire laptop.

You can find two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output port, D-Sub, one unique SATA/USB combo port, headphone and microphone 3.5mm ports. MSI also throw in one built-in 4-in-1 memory card reader at the right side.

Slim Laptop lover, good news for you. MSI has inserted another series of slim-line CULV laptop into their X-Slim series dubbed as Dual Core X-Slim X350.

In this new series, MSI will deliver Intel Consumer Ultra Low Processor (which known as Dual Core SU4100 or you can also opt for Core 2 Duo SU7300) to cut the energy cost and maintaining the ultra thin design. The latest release of MSI Gaming laptop series known as MSI GT640 is a cool gaming laptop powered by the popular Intel Core i7 – Quad Core CPU. Although the speed is only 1.6Ghz (Core i7 720QM), you can boost it up directly using MSI patented EcoEngine and choose from over 5 power modes: text processing, gaming, movie viewing, presentations, and Turbo Battery modes.
